Edmonton Truck Training

Chose Edmonton Truck Training as the Educational Institute for attaining my Class 3 Driver's License. The Owner, Jay, was nothing but Professional and extremely enthusiastic. The staff that scheduled my training and corresponding exams were also extremely professional and forgiving with changes in availability during the pandemic. I passed all my exams first try, and I feel like Jay set me up for success! I would highly recommend Edmonton Truck Training to anyone looking to attain their driving certificates.

Great company, instructors really care about students progress and give extra effort if needed. Equipment is all reliable and modern and well taken care of. Instructors are all great and knowledgeable, the have the patience and experience needed to teach the new drivers the skills they will need when out on the road and dealing with the everyday life of the industry. I highly recommend them for any professional driving training program they offer. Instructions are clear and straightforward. They go above and beyond to help the student pass no matter how many attempts are needed. I was very impressed with my outcome and the level of professionalism I experienced when dealing with anyone from the company.

In Edmonton it's the best school 100%!!!! When business owner love what he's doing! In December I failed my Class 3 (didn't apply airbrake and left truck) totally my fault. I listened the stories of all instructors and got inspiration from Jay (school owner) to get class 1 license. My studies was so interesting.  I am Ukrainian who never involved into the trucking industry.  I was able to learn all parts and functions! And be able to run Trucks with auto/manual transmissions it was soooo interesting! Different instructors - different skills! All of them was experienced truck drivers in the past! Edmonton Truck Driving School is great school, staff are very knowledgeable, patient and will go extra mile for students to succeed. I am an example for that. From the office, classroom and the yard I had all the help I needed, Jay, Anju, Sam and Phil all did their part for my success. I passed my road test on my first try. I just want to thank everyone in Edmonton Truck Training for the amazing experience while I’m in the process of getting my Class 1 Melt Licence . The team is fantastic and amazing!Anju, Phil, Jaz, Sam and Jay where very professional and helpful specially to student like me who do not have any background in this trucking Industry and really started to zero. They are very approachable and flexible on your own schedule. Started my training October 2 and was able to finish everything yesterday November 18. Yes, with the help , guidance and supervision of ETT instructors I manage to obtain all necessary requirements very quickly by giving me proper knowledge needed to secure all knowledge test and road test in just 1 take! Very pleased with my training. I applied to get my class 1 with a grant called driving back to work Alberta while I was unemployed. I got assigned to this school for my training. Although I didn't have a say in where I went, I do not have any complaints about the school or the instructors. They have good equipment to work with. I was pleasantly surprised that I had no delays due to equipment, even though I did my course over a 3 week period of -30 to -45, which makes it difficult for diesel engines to function properly. Jay, the owner, would always arrive early to have the trucks started and warmed up for training. They worked around everyone's schedule and was very open to working with all the students. Every student I talked to had only positive things to say, which is rare considering people are normally hard to please. All the instructors that I had were very knowledgeable and open to explaining all my questions. I got my license done with air brakes in under 6 weeks. I passed my class 1 road test on my first attempt. When starting out I was not even able to shift a truck manual transmission, as it is very different from the manual transmission in my car. The best thing they taught me was the confidence in getting behind the wheel and operating a Class 1 vehicle safely. I would highly recommend anyone interested in entering the industry to at the very least check them out. I landed a Class 1 job under a week from receiving my license. If you are serious about getting you CDL and are willing to do the work, you will be successful attending this school. Thank you very much for all you have done to help me succeed.

As a class 3 driver, I have not been behind the wheel in 4 years. I needed an hour of retraining to get behind the wheel and calm my nerves for a new job. Jay was my instructor. He was informative, patient, knowledgeable and supportive. He eased my nerves and knew when to guide me in a safe manor. 10/10 I would absolutely come back in the future if I ever needed training or if I upgrade to a class 1. He has many years of experience and is great at what he does. Fantastic business.
