★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The NW is an older community and was not structured like the newer communities that have a playground every 500 feet or so. So, when they city or community association decided to upgrade this playground, I was so happy. I only gave 4 stars because the swings are hard to push, and there aren't enough swings, and it's a dusty gravel substrate... so we are either covered in dust or muddy dust when we leave. Thumbs up to the ramps and swing purposed for children who have mobility concerns!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is actually for the sledding hill immediately adjacent to the playground. Great slope, adequate height, plenty of space to spread out. One of the best places to slide with kids in the NW.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small but fun playground. A few trees and a few benches around. Right beside a hockey rink, which serves as basketball when not iced. Large soccer field nearby. It's just down the hill from more sports: baseball diamond, disc golf and tennis.
