Eden Hair Extensions & Braids - Edmonton

Eden is my go to gal for getting my hair braided and done professionally. She has magic hands that work fast and grip my hair tightly for long lasting effects. I am always pleased with her service each and every time I pop by for a visit. I have referred friends and family to her over the following 4 years. I had watched her business grow rapidly in the following years. Transitioning from a smaller shop to a huge shop with unlimited space and helpers on deck. Her and my mom are good friends as she is able to connect on a deeper level with her clients. I miss going to her as I have moved out of the city on the search for a new hair lady. Her false lashes are good too!

Eden the best salon ,hair place to go for all your need ,hair ,products,eyebrows ,wigs,weaves everything overall place a1 over all experience great been going here since 2015 8years from her old shop to new, I'll always give her my business she beautiful her daughter's beautiful people and the work they do is amazing plus all the stall are just as wonderful to I totally recommend you try it out xox ?

I have gone to eden 3 times. HORRIBLE and the last time im going there The first time i got 2 simple braids that took 5mins to do and was charged $20 Second time i went i got the exact same braids and was charged $25 took the exact same amount of time This last time i go, i wait 45min , get moved to a chair and wait 15 more min, then she comes and braids my hair, same braids as the last 2 times iv been there , no product was put on to keep frizzy hair down and then trys to charge $27.50. Last time i ever go there.

Was my very first time dropping by for a braided appointment & definitely will not be my last! I absolutely loved the service from start to finish. The place was clean and cozy, service was fast & prices were reasonable!~ Thank you so much ♡

I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE STARS!!! Eden and her daughter are the two most shady people I have ever met in my ENTIRE life. I’ve been going to this place for years, simply because in all honesty - they usual do a good job if you are direct and put your foot down about getting exactly what you asked for (if you’re timid or shy they will take advantage of that and not put in the effort to make their customers happy with the service they claim to provide). But I’m no longer supporting this business now that I’ve finally found a reputable place I can trust with my hair as it is hard to manage. Here is a list of pros and cons you should highly consider before giving these people your money.. Pro: -The other ladies that work at this establishment I found to be kind and respectful - eden’s salon has a wide range of hair products as well as hair for different kinds of styles - her new location is very close to her previous one downtown - the salon itself is well established, it’s always very busy which most would think is a good thing.. I explain this below. Cons: - eden does NOT have price lists, this is because she charges each person depending on what kind of money she THINKS they have or thinks they’re willing to pay. When I call to make appointments she charges me almost triple what I actually pay in store.. most likely because my voice “sounds” more professional/ probably thinking I’m white. When I pay in person and tell her she over charged me on the phone, she said she thought I was someone else because I sounded different… I told a lady next to me what I pay for my weaves and eden attempted to have a “stern” conversation with me about not sharing prices because it differs per customer. Turns out she was charging that customer $350 for two cornrows which is over $300 then what I was paying. To be fair, I totally understand charging different prices for length/manageability of hair. This did not apply here as our hair was basically the same if not, hers would of been “cheaper” other than considering the fact she looked like she had more money (designer bags and shoes).. -eden and her daughter take advantage of the high risk, vulnerable population in the city.. and they do it in front of customers. I’ve seen numerous times eden purchase stolen products for little to nothing off of the street population that come into the store desperately with bags of stolen goods. Some people would call this smart business? I personally think it’s disgusting and unethical as a business opener that she exploits them like this and has no shame to do it in public. - they literally only care about money. At this salon, customer satisfaction and service are non existent. I’m not shocked so many reviews state good experiences as like I mentioned before - eden does do hair well however, I am surprised at the lack of negative comments warning people mmm about traumatic experiences I know so many have unfortunately faced. -they are never on time partly because as mentioned, the salon is established and they do have a lot of customers as they say they can do pretty much anything. Eden and her daughter delina will take clients and start something small so they can’t leave but then will leave them there for hours while they attend to other clients doing the same thing to keep their salon looking extremely busy. I spend a minimum of 3 hours there when my hair style takes max an hour to do. -delina has gotten a lot of recognition lately for her ability to do wigs but don’t be fooled, she is exactly like her mother if not worse. Delina and her mom will lie to ur face to their graves about how things look on you just to get your money. If you’re unhappy they still expected you to pay for the full service and do not care to fix the issue.

The ladies here are very talented and worked together as a team to get my extentensions done while also working on other clients. They also enjoyed themselves while working which made it a positive experience for me. Thank you!!

Was super impressed with the customer support and costume couldn't of turned out any better thanks to their exact replication of what I asked for. My initial intention was to keep just for Halloween but I like it so much im keeping this hair style for some time to come. Switch things up and give Eden's a shot, thanks lady's!!

I got these braids done that were super long (past my knees, almost to my ankles). The ladies at this shop are the sweetest and treated my natural hair with care. 2-3 ladies were braiding my hair at a time which made this process go fast. These braids lasted me almost two months for a great price. Hair was provided for my service as well. This is the only place I go to in Edmonton for all my hair services (wigs, braids, hair products, etc,..)
