★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a brand new volunteer built boardwalk that goes thru incredible old growth forest of Douglas Fir and Red Cedar. Sadly Eden Grove is unprotected and at risk if being logged by Teal Jones. Please visit this gem and spread the word to help lobby the government to protect Eden Grove.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eden grove is an old growth forest that is located just past big lonely doug and if you are going to do eden grove you must stop at avatar grove and big lonely doug along the way and all these places are magical also the roads are gravel and are fine for the most part but the last section before big lonely doug is rough

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never been to a place more magical. Standing under giants hundreds and hundreds of years old. Just recently a boardwalk has been made for the short hike. Easy trail, and manageable for everyone. Road is a little bumpy, but I've made it there many times now with 2-wheel drive. As of right now the trees in this grove aren't protected and are at risk of being logged. BC's public is currently trying to push the government to put an end to old growth logging, but everyone's help is needed in this (including yours!). So, go to the trail, bring your friends and family and experience this life-changing place together, there's nothing I would recommend more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars? more like a million, when you look at the sky from the side of Edinburgh Mountain. Pristine wilderness, unprotected old growth. Let the sound of silence calm your mind, walk the trail slowly, mindfully, all the trees, big and small, impart a special energy. Enjoy their nourishing presence. listen to the sound of the rushing Gordon River below, the wind in the fir trees above. The understory is diverse, there are a lot of ferns, lichens and fungi to enjoy looking at, when your neck gets sore from staring up into the canopy of the Western Red Cedar, as you wonder how a place so magical, could be left unprotected. May Edinburgh Mountain grow forever green. Thank you Fairy Creek blockade. for protecting the ancient Cedars of Edinburgh. whatever happens to this magical temple of earth, we'll never forget how you fought for it, peacefully out of love.
