École St. Mother Teresa School (2001-present)

Named after Mother Teresa (1910-1997, canonized St. Teresa of Calcutta) the school opened in August 2001 with 301 students from Kindergarten to Grade 8, with a staff of 20. It was an exciting time for the Silverspring community, which had waited 10 years for the new school. Mother Teresa School celebrates three important ideals exemplified by the life of Mother Teresa: her faith, her service, and her stewardship. Our mission to nurture faith, encourage excellence in learning, and inspire our students to serve, making the world a better place, influences our school community`s daily actions and words. It is our hope that our staff and students exemplify the life of our patron saint while appreciating the gifts of God`s blessing as we achieve to the best of our ability.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously! We can’t even stand up during lunch hours even if we have to throw out garbage! Can’t wait until Grade 9 so I can get out of here. (also, a teacher told my friend who has ADHD, he couldn’t be welcome if he couldn’t listen to a basketball drill that the teacher didn’t explain very well)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good School that was amazing for French and band. They partially preferred French kids but the whole school had amazing tech the playground was amazing and the teachers were very helpful towards all kids. Thank you mother Theresa for such a good education.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay, this is literally the worse place ever. I mean, staff are nice and everything. But the rules isn't good and fair. To start off, the french kids get all the new and cool stuff, such as, new equipment, cool clases, etc. And it really isnt fair. So a suggestion is to NOT go to this school unless you're gonna go to french classrooms. They might remove this comment so make sure to spread it out!
