★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Construction of École Salish Secondary began in late 2016 and was completed in 2018. École Salish Secondary opened in September 2018 and was named after the local Salish peoples who are indigenous to the area. Its first students were mostly former students from Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary and Clayton Heights Secondary. Its first principal was Sheila Hammond, the former principal of Johnston Heights Secondary School. As of June 2019, it was the Surrey School District's least-crowded secondary school. It currently has around 1000 students.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HORRIBLE AND ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SCHOOL. The staff are TERRIBLE and RUDE. But as a poc I think this school kinda has a racist scent to it BECAUSE, whenever I do something small, I get in so much trouble, and when a white person does something BAD, it takes it lightly and becomes LITERAL BEST FREINDS. and whats even more disgusting is that I get literally harassed by those kids and the school just watches and lets that happen, those kids are the staffs and teachers so called "best friend".

I let a teacher know i was gonna study in a room but then i realized i stayed in the room for like such a long time and it was 6pm already! so as i was heading downstairs, a janitor got mad at me for staying up there until 6 but i said it's like the teacher's fault for not letting me know or like take responsibilities of students. WHAT A RUDE JANITOR!!!!
Please take more responsibilities of students please. they are precious and we wish to be good students. we always make mistakes but please understand. cant believe it
