Bienvenue à l’école

Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys.

Great school for Pre K-6, junior high is ok, but high school for grades 10-12 is terrible. Because they don't have enough students in high school, they can't offer decent programs or classes.

This school is horrible. I never learned anything in my all 3 years of being here .I've seen some real smart people go dumb because of the teacher's "teaching". Most of the teacher can't teach to save their lives I swear they hired these teachers off of kijiji or something. Just the other day a teacher complained saying that we won't get anywhere in life because the entire class failed a quiz she blamed us when it was clearly her fault like if the entire class failed it ,obviously it had something to do with the way she teaches us like shouldn't she be trying to encourage us. All I have to say is thank you sweet jesus that I'm leaving this hellhole. Also Lynn Fisher , the only good teacher, deserves to be teaching at a better high school

It’s horrible for learning and for socializing, most of the kids don’t even get along.

I went to this school for 4 years, Now I think it was questionable at the least, some grades you'd get some good teachers and some you don't, my bus was especially racist and the administration staff did little to nothing to actually fix the problem, their were barely any decent programs, most substitutes were obviously not prepared for the role of "teacher" while some were pretty nice to have around. Now about learning, It has been some time since I've been too school so maybe this is just me being really forgetting, you were learned the basic's blah blah blah.. it was normal. Now the infrastructure that is something else, in almost half a decade of being there I think their have been a couple issues, one of my first stories is on how a pipe exploded around the gym entrance of the main corridor, we had to wait I think 3-4 hours for belongings in the a neighbouring school gym and too actually go home. Another story which really isn't a story is on how in the extension farthest from the administration office, There. Was. No. Heating. They didn't think or evening tried to, you had to wear full winter costumes to keep warm for god sake. From what I've heard from people still in SMB, the cafeteria food has been deteriorating since I've left, your used to get poutine if thats what your ordered before you were even born now your just given gravy with a side of cheese with a fries... yummy yummy... they always tried to keep the cafeteria as silent as possible, all the teachers, obviously it never works, they allowed higher grade students into the garden or outside near the cafeteria which I think was a really idea, but maybe also because they're was no space. One thing I thought extremely confused about was how much we did these ceremonies about christ and all, it was all nice and dandy but how many times we did was the issue, we sang we had different classes do talks and all blah blah blah, in my opinion and probably speaking for everyone who witnessed that stuff it was mostly boring, not saying anything bad about the catholics or christians or anything it was just how many times we had to do these ceremonies. Overall, SMB is a debatable school with high's and low's, like their library is amazing but how much they cared about on how we talked french all the time and if we didn't every teacher in a 15 meter radius would start throwing "code de vies" at you. If I were to describe this school I'd say, Confusing.
