Nick is honest and up front about his timelines and has some excellent ideas and suggestions on how to improve my proposals. He does research and sends pictures to ensure he is building exactly what I asked for. His work is beautiful, solid and well finessed. He has built me a table, a stunning tongue-and-grove wood box for a chandelier, a hand-carved sign out of walnut and repaired all of my antique dinning room chairs. I would never go to anyone else for wood working or cabinet making, Schafer Woodworks is the real deal. Highly recommend.

It is perfect thanks to his careful measurements, suggestions to accommodate my preferences in style and types of wood to best withstand the wear and tear of our sometimes harsh weather.
He is professional but friendly and pleasant all at the same time.

He provided much help in regards to the essence of wood and color of the stain. Our project was a little bit of a challenge since our shelf is 14 feet long. The final product is amazing and fits perfectly in our decor. Fine craftmenship.

If you're in a hurry to start/finish a project, if you're looking for the lowest bid, well, you might have to compromise on quality and look elsewhere! If you're looking for quality above all, look no further.
Amongst many of our projects feature in their photos, we redid the entire kitchen w Nick & Ashley in 2020. Despite a few reasonable delays, we still express our appreciation for the new space regularly, and those cabinets will outlast the rest of the house!
