The park is beautiful. It is not that far from the city, and with 10 mins of drive you can get to many stores. The beach is not of good quality, tgere are ao many small stones scattered on the beach sands, which makes it a bit uncomfortable and difficult to play volleyball there. More importantly, the water bacteria level is high, and it is not recommended to swim.

Couldn't find any trail maps at the park which sucks. A few trails, one goes around the lake and another to a viewing area. A lot of road walking which sucked, would be nice if it had more trails in the forest.

We spent 3 nights 4 days here in August, very disappointed that we were not aware the beach was closed due to ecoli and it looks like by reviewing reviews after that the beaches have been closed for along time. I would not have booked here if I new. My son is Autistic and is interested in swimming and fishing and we could do neither. The walking bridges are in need or repair. The pool was still closed for the season there reason was because of the pandemic. When I spoke to staff that was upset about not being notified about it being closed they didn't seem to care told me I could go and drive about an hour away and do a a trip to wasaga Beach if I wanted to swim. This in my opinion was not at all acceptable. Alot of dogs. No hand washing stations near the Porta potties. Showers stunk and were not kept clean. As well nor were the port a potties. I killed a very large spider ? the first day on the floor in the Porta potty on Monday it was still there on Thursday.

Initially had planned to go to Mono cliffs for fall color views but the park had reached its capacity so decided to go to Earl rowe. Fall colors were mostly in yellow and still green shade. Wanted to do the lookout trail from the main parking lot, but it wasnt accessible from there. So rather drove to concession road 7 and then to Tosorontio road 5 for the lookout. The view was great but peak fall hadnt reached.

An ok park to visit .. close to Mono Cliffs. The place had big beach with brown sand. The parking is close to the beach. You can walk on the beach or do the trail.. diff kind of flora. Trail goes thru park, then alongside internal road and then again on farmlike land. We saw trees with no leaves in Sep( see pic). Good place to plan lunch in the park with your friends.

In the Fall this park is quite beautiful with the changing leaves. There is lots of paved walking trails for a nice stroll. It costs about $15 to get on for day use which seems a bit pricey for this time of year. Beware that the beach area is sludgy and smells so so bad so if you use the Fletcher Mill Pavilion next to it it will be stinky.

Decent park for Day Use & Overnight Camping close to GTA. Camp Store with Supplies & Ice Cream. Dam & Fishway/Fish Ladder. Day visit: we did the trails and they were well maintained. Beautiful views of the water. Not quite open for the season yet so pool is not open. Lots of geese on the beach and a few mallards in the water. Trails are well marked and have lots of benches available for resting and viewing the water. Lots of picnic tables too
