★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely Terrible. Yes they do provide you with a place to stay and all three meals of the day but lately you have to make your own and the lunches have been terrible... Some of the staff do not listren and are unaproachable.. favorite certain kids. I got the booot over a lie they didn't bother asking me about. Just handed me my stuff at the door when I got back one day.. The women fondel with each other. The guys are mostly just pigs. And for whatever reason everyone asks for smokes periodically every hour when most of them ore on disability.. If you choose to go here don't ever associate yourself with no one cause it's all stupid drama and you won't get your stuff done..
THE ONLY GOOD STAFF there is Andre.. He is probably THE most approachable Staff there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff coordinator tried to start a FWB relationship with me and the person in charge of the schooling program told me"nobody feels sorry for you". I sincerely hope they have new staff because this place was so DISTURBED.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being a previous resident in the shelter, the staff are great and don't be afraid to ask questions. They are there to help. Advice for staying in that particular shelter is yes the environment is welcoming, great food of a 3 course meal, lunches aren't the best all the time but at least a lunch is given. Do not tell the other residents in the shelter too much about yourself otherwise you may end up in a situation you wish you weren't in. There are daily chores for each resident that reside in the house. Not everyone is the same. Every one will have a different experience, don't be afraid to go to the shelter if you must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here (year 2020) are really nice so long as you don't push them. If you have nowhere else to go and/or need a safe place then don't hesitate to call them and see if they have space for you. Even if they don't have space, you won't be turned away empty handed if you are hungry or feeling cold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to stay at this shelter back in 2016 so this review might be a bit dated, but it’s worth sharing anyways.
I came here after being pushed out of my home due to coming out. The staff that worked there at the time were caring, understanding and respectful of my identity. The fact that after everything I had been through, I was finally allowed to be myself and felt protected was a breath of fresh air. All that weight was finally lifted and I was able to focus on my future in a positive way.
To any of the staff that used to work there, please know how absolutely grateful I am for the protection and love you gave me.
To anyone who maybe staying there right now, remember that this is just temporary and that good things will come your way. Push forward and keep loving yourself.
