★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Durham Taekwondo Is The Most Amazing Taekwondo I've Ever Experienced In My Whole Life.This Taekwondo Has Made Olympians, World Champions, You Name It.Not Only Has It Just Made That, It Has Made Many People Feel Like They Are One, For Example Me. They Trained Me So Well My First Tournament I Got A Gold Medal With Over 10 Point Leads In Matches. Without Them, You Will Not Become A Strong Mature Champion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Durham Taekwondo is one of the best Taekwondo school in Pickering. The coaches/ instructors continue to pursue a higher education in National Coaching Certification Program. I have known Master Sofia for more than 8 years, I see her growth and passion throughout the years I have known her. Master Sofia always look after the best interest of her students, she is a great role model for all young students to follow. I would highly recommend Durham Taekwondo if you want are looking for a martial arts school in Pickering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really bad experience there. My son was a little hyper and they asked if something else is wrong with him, I found that very offensive. And my daughter got a lecture for not wanting to do it. The lady even lectured her on her Piano...something that's her passion. Maybe they can't see the beauty in each child but every child is unique. Thanks to them I realized my son is more into active sports. However the Master at Harmony Martial Arts was much kinder.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Master Sofia is a great instructor and she was an athlete for Team Canada and placed 3rd at the pan american Championships. She has practised with me for 7 years and she has developed into ok ne of Canada's promising coaches. I would recommend Durham to those looking for a martial arts club in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We signed up for 6 moths, my son attended 3x week, everything was fine until the 6 mths were done and I inquired about testing. The director said my son could continue to go until the next test without me committing for a full year. When it was time for testing she yelled in front of all the other parents that he wasn’t eligible because he hadn’t paid for the last two months. She also said he had problems focusing again in front of all the other children and parents. No etiquette or sense of privacy whatsoever. The instructor had to step in and ask her to leave. The instructor also said he wasn’t ready for testing, but not once did I receive any feedback of that sort during the 6 months I paid. Very offensive lady, I had to argue to pay for my son to test. They don’t have kids interests at heart and it can be crushing for some kids. Glad I didn’t commit to the year, happy my son will get to continue somewhere else in a more positive environment. Good riddance DTK
