★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice, comfortable room, good food in the restaurant. My steak was done perfectly. There was a leather recliner in my single king room that was so comfortable that I almost didn't use the bed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lobby and room were very clean. Had breakfast in the Cafe. The staff was willing to clean tables so we could sit together. Our orders were correct and served promptly. The server was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to stay in Fairview. I feel sorry for the people leaving reviews based on other irrelevant factors other than the actual hotel and their stay. Because the hotel was awesome and the customer service was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a room days in advance and negotiated a rate that was not honored upon check in. The check in was painful as I was forced to haggle with a rude receptionist. The hotel was nearly empty so I requested an upgrade and that was denied. Bad customer service experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are very dated and worn down, with uncomfortable beds and low-end amenities (old/cheap tv, burnt old coffee maker, thin/too-small shower curtain, tiny bath towels).
This hotel would need some major updating to warrant the price - to illustrate, I paid the same rate for a newly renovated hotel in downtown Banff, that included a welcome beverage, hot tub, and other amenities.
Would not recommend staying here based on the disappointing accommodations at a high price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BUFFET - We did not stay in the hotel but met family for their buffet dinner. The dining room is pretty basic (the table and chairs) however they have a lot of neat things to see such as a keyboard shelf and old piano book case.
There was a large selection of food - both cold and hot - including pork chops, beef, fish, yams, rice, salads, vegetables and lot of desert selection.
It is a bit expensive however it is well priced as everything else is expensive these days.
The staff are super friendly and helpful and the area is clean with hygiene protocols including using a serving glove when at the buffet. (Although they do need to monitor it a bit more if this is what they offer as not everyone was using the disposable gloves).
