★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time at Dunn's. The Smoked Meat was amazing, poutine lacked cheese. Service, not so much. Coming every 2 minutes to see if we were ready to order. I got annoyed by the waitress and took the same thing as my boyfriend. Also she asked if we wanted Swiss cheese on our sandwich (I dident think for one second that there was an extra cost, I thought to myself just incase someone is intolerant to lactose).... 2$ extra for 1 slice of swiss cheese without being informed. It was really disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven’t eaten at dunns in 15 years so I wanted to try it again. Food was alright but the service was not acceptable for a restaurant that did not have a lot of patrons. A meal that should have taken max 30 min ended up taking closer to an hour. There was a solid 10 minutes between when we put the menu down and when the waitress came to take our order. The bottomless drinks mean nothing if the waitress never comes to check on you. At one point she came asked if we wanted a refill and then disappeared until it was time for the bill without ever bringing the drink.
I am also a little bit upset that to change French fries into a salad cost 3$ more. I feel like the healthier option should be the same price as the French fries.
