Dundas Dental and Hygiene Clinic - Etobicoke

I am a very nervous person when it comes to dental visits. From the moment I walked through the door I was treated with a warm and curteious welcome. My teeth are very sensitive. I do not respond to pain very well. The dental hygienist was extremely gentle on my teeth. Amazingly, no pain or discomfort at all. My teeth were cleaned thoroughly. The dentist onsite took my exams and explained everything in a clear and competent manner. I had a tooth extracted and 4 cavities filled. The dentist completed their work efficiently with no discomfort. I felt very at ease the entire time. Even after the work was completed I had no pain, no swelling and no sensitivity. Great work. I had a great experience with the dentist at this dental location! Even the receptionist was super friendly! Totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a dental clinic!!!!

I’d highly recommend this clinic and Kathy for a dental scaling. First of all, the clinic was really clean, and had an welcoming environment that made me feel relaxed during the visit. Kathy was very professional and made sure that I was comfortable during scaling. I’d definitely visit here for next time.

Elder Abuse, Misconduct, Non-responsive & Irresponsible Dr Sonia Verma and Dundas Dental & Hygiene Clinic have defrauded my 76 year old mother and now will not take any responsibility for misconduct. In Oct 2020 when my 76 year mother visited the clinic and saw Dr Sonia Verma for issues with her dentures Dr Verma indicated the old dentures could not be repaired and she has to have new dentures made and unless “restructuring procedures or scaling” was done dentures would not fit because of my mothers age and receding gums. So my mother had the procedures done, x-rays taken and denture made and paid over 3200 dollars. After the restructuring procedures her gums hurt and from day one the dentures would not fit her properly and kept hurting her gums she set up 3 appointments with Dr Sonia Verma at Dundas Dental & Hygiene Clinic all 3 times Dr Sonia Verma was a no-show and another dentist attended to my mother. My mother kept telling the clinic the dentures hurt her and they don’t fit properly and the tooth is weak and feels like it may fall off. The other dentist temporarily fixed the dentures so they didn’t hurt her anymore and asked her to use Orajel. She asked the clinic to call Dr Verma and have the dentures fixed permanently. “Nothing will happen if it does come back we will take care of it”. In a few weeks the dentures were completely discoloured so my mother called the clinic again – Dr Verma doesn’t come often, they cannot do anything much and since the dentures don’t hurt her she doesn’t need to get them fixed there is nothing they can do and they would not give her any reason for the discoloring, this is not unusual according to them. My mother has been wearing dentures for over 30 years and none of the older dentures have discoloured. Come end July 2021 (less than 10 months) while eating the tooth snaps in her mouth luckily she did not swallow it or choke on it. She called the clinic 3 times and finally someone answered Dundas Dental & Hygiene Clinic response Dr Verma doesn’t usually come here, the other dentist who helped her is now retired, nothing we can do we can refer you to someone else you have to pay for this repair. They will not give my mother Dr Verma’s details like another clinic or contact number, its illegal according to them to give her details to patients. The clinic receptionist is fronting calls and their website boasts of a new team and says new patients welcome. Im hoping RCDSO will address this irresponsible behavior of both the clinic and Dr Sonia Verma so that no other vulnerable individuals are defrauded by the Dr at another location or the clinic.

Amazing Clinic! Staff is very kind and the Hygienist and Dentist are very gentle yet efficient. Would HIGHLY recommend this clinic! Also Charged me under the Ontario fee guide which you don't see often!!

The staff at Dundas Dental and Hygiene Clinic are very welcoming and my visit was very pleasant. My dental hygienist Kathy was very patient. She explained everything prior operation throughout my appointment and did a very thorough cleaning. I highly recommend her because she was very gentle during the whole cleaning and made sure to not cause any discomfort. I will be visiting again in the near future.

During these troubled times, it is nice to get a cleaning done at a dental clinic that exhibits courtesy and respect. The cleaning service was done diligently by Kathy while providing helpful suggestions on preventive care. The clinic also was well lit and decorated, making it very comfortable and homely. All-in-all, I had a very good experience here where I felt comfortable throughout the appointment.
