★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly Neighborhood Conmen- We bought the Lucy couch, which was very comfortable in store. It came over stuffed, hard and uncomfortable. Service since then has been a series of brush offs and things like “ Well, at least it will still look good in ten years”. Mainly because no one will sit on it, I’m thinking.
I feel that we ordered one thing, received another thing, and no one at Dufresnes cares. I may as well shop online for this kind of service. It’s easier, better selection, and I would expect lousy service.
Follow up: After this review appeared the company reached out to collect more information. Because the issue belonged to a certain aspect of production only the sales team could help. So back to Selkirk Dufresne for yet another futile call. This time all they could possibly do was give me the old cushions to put in my slip covers. Bit of an ick factor. Not only do they not have a upholstery shampooer to clean the cushions first-in a furniture store, it’s apparently against company policy. At the end of the call, Dustin mentioned I’d been on speakerphone with the sales team. Classy, Dustin!

The second delivery went excellent. Your delivery guys are awesome. Also I am totally impressed with the quality of the furniture I have received, and have enjoyed since my first delivery was sent. It's a delight to have furniture in my home, that I know will stand the test of time. I highly recommend buying furniture from Defresne Furniture. I will never buy from anywhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very satisfied with the service provided to me by the online chat, sales agent with Dufresne. They provided quick and accurate information and price matched competitor pricing all at the ease of a few texts/online chats. I placed my order with the agent. HOWEVER I ordered Oct. 1st and was told 6-8 weeks. It was then moved to the end of January, then the beginning of April. FROM SIX WEEKS TO SIX OR MORE MONTHS. They advised me that this was still just estimated so it could be longer. They had horrible customer service. I had to inquire several times about order status and they did nothing to retain my business. I requested a refund and got my couch elsewhere.

Never will I ever shop anywhere else for furniture. Quality is great and prices reasonable.

Our sales person "Dustin Basaraba" went above and beyond for us and after he went beyond he went even further to make sure we had everything we needed and fit our budget. Never would I shop anywhere else and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for furniture,appliances or beds. I can't wait till I have more money to be able to spend with Dufrsene.
