We have used Danielle for our corporate taxes for multiple years. This year however, she has failed to reply to emails ( for over 2 months now) and when calling the voicemail is full. We needed to have our T4's completed which she usually takes care of, and there has been zero contact from her office. Her facebook page has been removed, and there are a number of people trying to get in contact with her that have been unable to for months. Its very unfortunate. We now are on the search for a new accounting team. Regardless if she is overly busy or not, communication is a HUGE part of business. If your business is too busy to be able to keep up, hire additional help.

I used Danielle's SOS Bookkeeping for the 1st time this year. While things were slow on the communication front the overall quality of the work and the knowledge and expertise demonstrated by everyone I spoke to in the office made me content to wait. I do recommend them for your personal tax needs. Also my deepest condolences to Danielle and her family. I hope you can find peace

Danielle seems to think deleting past Google reviews will fix her reputation lol. I'll just repost what I wrote back in February. If any past customers have any ideas on how we might be able to hold this business accountable for their complete negligence with customers, I'd be interested in talking further. "As other customers have also reviewed recently, I have had the same experience with this business lacking communication, accountability, and essentially taking people's money without actually doing anything and then being on the hook for penalties later. What they do end up doing is sloppy at best. I was paying Danielle for monthly bookkeeping services and for both personal and corporate tax filing. My business is not complicated nor are my investments from an accounting/tax perspective. 1. 2019 reconciliation in my QuickBooks was done incorrectly and not completed fully 2. The way she set up the tracking of certain items in my Quickbooks was incorrect and not aligned with accounting best practices 3. What was filed in 2019 didn't match with what she had told me to remit for a certain item and thus I ended up paying late remittance fees 4. There were follow up items that were supposed to be completed based off my 2019 filing that I was unaware needed to be completed in 2020. She didn't tell me these actions items, nor did she do them. Again, payments and a specific filing to the CRA were late because of this. 5. In November 2020 I asked her to provide what she was doing for me on a monthly basis as I had seen she had done nothing in my Quickbooks for most of the year and I had only asked her a few questions. It took her 3 weeks to acknowledge my email. After I followed up on my email, she said she was working on it, and then never followed up. At that point I fired her and literally still have not been able to speak to her since. 6. SOS Bookkeeping's admin has the same last name as Danielle so don't hold your breath for help from anyone working for her. After 3 weeks of emailing multiple emails and calling the office, I was finally able to get my new accountant a couple documents she needed from the admin to do some reconciliation. Danielle has been unable to provide any explanations of what she did or didn't do to this date and has taken no accountability for any of these issues. I HIGHLY encourage anyone using her services to go through what she has done in the last year or so with a fine toothed comb. The way she has been managing her business is unprofessional and I am concerned with her ability to provide even basic bookkeeping services let alone tax filing. I hope this review saves other people from having the same headaches I have had."

I took some time to read through the reviews left here before leaving mine and I am saddened by people's lack of humanity. The last 2 years have been brutal for businesses everywhere. My own has suffered trying to keep it's doors open and it's people paid and has suffered the same ill will from customers despite trying our very best with limited resources. I definitely understand people's unhappiness as well on the other hand but I have nothing but good things to say about Danielle and her team. I spoke to Jocelyn many times this year and she was my guide and I am grateful for her knowledge, honesty and transparency. While the outside might look a bit less shiny trust me when I say Danielle and her team know their stuff and are worth every penny and the wait.

After receiving a generic email from Danielle's SOS Bookkeeping PLEADING to not write a negative review I have held my tongue but for the sake of anyone else who chooses to enter this business I felt compelled to write a review. Dealing with this company has been the most unprofessional and frustrating experience I have ever had. We had 3 zoom meetings set up with Danielle and she failed to show up to all 3. They NEVER answer the phone and count yourself lucky if you get an email response. I spent months sending over paperwork only to find out the person I am sending to doesn't even work there anymore. In the same email pleading me to not write a review, they say come and get your stuff in person and we will gladly accept that you choose to go elsewhere- except I drove over an hour to get my stuff. Stood at the front desk for 20 mins while they "looked for it" I even called the front desk while I was in there and the phone didn't even ring!!!! Oh but they have "12 new phone lines to aid in communication" everything this business brags about is a lie! Not to mention after waiting there for 20 minutes in an office so dirty it could give someone an asthma attack I left empty handed. Do not go here. Now we have found a new accountant that will cost time and money to fix all their mistakes.

My wife and I were recommended Danielle's SOS Bookkeeping Services and we went to her in 2019 to do our taxes. We had no issues. This year however it's been nothing but issues. I sent all our documents in on March 13, 2021 and I got an automatic reply that it will be 2.5 - 3 weeks. We are still waiting for our taxes to be done and coming on 5 weeks. I've noticed that the facebook page is gone, answering machine is always full of messages and now not responding to emails.

I am beyond disappointed and frustrated with Danielle and her services. I debated posting a review and wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately after today she has made it clear that she is unreliable, unprofessional and that all the previous negative reviews are in fact TRUE. I am an out of town client. I had to drive 5 hours to see if this place was actually still in business because no one will return my emails or calls.Admin was friendly but couldn't help me. Promised to get me an update and didn't. Still no update... almost 2 weeks later. My file has been in since Feb and nothing has been filed. I had a call with Danielle today at 215pm. It's now 4:43. Nothing. Don't fall for it like I did. It's not worth the headache or stress.

If Danielle would respond to my emails, I wouldn't be writing this but her tactic is to disappear and then send automated emails about all the trouble she has had. I had trouble too. I couldn't get my taxes done last year because she ghosted me and took all my tax papers with her. It took my team months to get them back and in the end, they had to drive an hour to get them. When they got them, they were unopened, completely untouched, despite us being told several times they were "almost done and ready for pick up soon." I have now finally gotten them done but paid over a thousand dollars in late fees, paid my staff copious hundreds of dollars in "chase fees" (fees to hunt her down and get theses papers back) and I am holding my breath about the CEWS that one of her staff did and we received because I am highly doubtful it was done right. I have been in business for 18 years and have NEVER had such an unprofessional, incompetent accounting experience. I am filing complaints everywhere because she won't respond to my emails and I want to warn others to stay far away from her and her company because I see their website is still there so I assume they are too. They shouldn't be or they should find a way to rectify the problems they have caused for their trusting clients/consumers and take responsibility for the way they mismanaged so many of our business matters. I advise you not to entrust these people with your business.
