The planning committee for the Northwest Response Forum has met to thoroughly review all options related to the 2022 event.  It is with profound regret we are announcing that this event will be postponed until April 2023.  This was not an easy decision and consideration of all options was discussed, including going entirely virtual.  However, in-person networking and on site trade show are key components of the Forum and part of what provides the most value to those attending and speaking.  For those who have registered, reimbursements will be issued as soon as possible.  We will also prioritize those who registered already for advanced registration for the 2023 event.  Those dates will be announced as soon as we are able to secure the venue.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will continue to work throughout this year to bring you the quality event you have come to expect from the Forum.  We also want to thank all the committee members who have put so much work in to this event as well as all the speakers who were willing to give us their time and talents to educate on so many valuable topics. 

In these uncertain times, we hope that you will all understand this decision.  Please stay safe and continue to follow our website and social media for updates as we continue to plan for 2023.

The conference delivers two full days of community networking and learning featuring access to 3 pre-conference training sessions, exciting Key Note Speakers from across North America, and opportunities for discussion focusing on lessons learned, new initiatives, best practices, and on current topics.

The Northwest Response Forum is proud to present the 7th Northwestern Ontario Conference on Disaster Management following the success of the conferences held in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019.  This conference will provide opportunities for anyone involved with or interested in the many facets of emergency management and who want to be better prepared for emergencies and disasters that may impact our region.

In addition to participating in several presentations, conference delegates will be provided opportunities to network with others in the Northwest.  Whether you are a full-time experienced disaster manager or emergency preparedness is one of the many responsibilities you are tasked with, this event has something to offer to all attendees.
