*To respond to Dr. Jin's reply to my initial comments To preface everything, a formal complaint of her behavior has been filed and proper actions have been taken. I genuinely have never left a negative review publicly and the reason I am doing so now is to raise awareness and try my best to help others avoid such a dentist who both lack professionalism and has the audacity to turn black into white. To respond to Dr. Jin's reply, I am once again deeply puzzled and disappointed by her misleading and false arguments, which in fact further illustrates how she is a dentist who will go to great lengths to tell lies to escape from her responsibilities and operate with a strong lack of ethicality. My accounts of my experience in our email exchanges and in this comment are nothing but the reality and has been 100% consistent, I am also willing to post my email exchanges to substantiate this fact. I never in our email exchanges or the above comments said that the initial crown was done at Dr. Jin's clinic. In fact, I do not know where the confusion lies since I highlighted clearly that the operation in question is a crown restoration. The only party that is stating inaccurate information is Dr. Jin, who confidently said in her email that my crown fell off 2 years ago when I clearly communicated to her that I took it off a few months ago, and the initial operation was done 2-3 years ago by a different dentist. Dr. Jin, I believe you are fully aware of what happened, your mistakes and it is truly counterproductive and childish of you to act like you don't on a public google review and save your crippling reputation. Furthermore, it is greatly immature for Dr. Jin to state that I "got upset" because she is going on leave. I would like to remind you, Dr. Jin, that my complaint is solely based on your unethical behavior throughout, and has nothing to do with your "supposed plans to go on leave". Never have I involved inconclusive emotional speculation in my arguments and it is highly childish for you to do so in yours. *Below is my original comment Had absolutely the worst experience with Dr. Jin, please avoid her. Through my appointment experience and exchanges with her, she is a dentist with a complete disregard of ethicality, transparency or honesty. After an initial consultation appointment, Dr. Jin confidently proposed to restore my dental crown by reinforcing the dental adhesive. My crown was completely functional and fits onto my tooth before the appointment with Dr. Jin and after examining my tooth and the crown itself, Dr. Jin expressed that she is very confident about the operation. Then, without previously informing me, she proceeded to perform "adjustments" to my dental crown for a prolonged period of time. Directly after those "adjustments" were made, she tried to put the crown back onto my tooth and it failed and fell off. Dr. Jin then suddenly declared that the dental crown restoration cannot be done successfully anymore, the crown has become useless and wanted to throw the crown out immediately. On top of that, an appointment fee was still charged. After the appointment, I felt quite sad and disappointed of the result and proceeded to email her asking for the exact reasons of the failed operation and what "adjustments" were exactly done to the crown. Dr. Jin's email reply was even more disappointing where she made huge mistakes in identifying the exact age of the crown and showed a complete lack of understanding of the dental crown history. Most importantly, she argued that the reason why she could not restore the crown was because the previous dentist who installed the crown made huge errors and therefore "before she even touched the crown", the operation was already deemed "clinically hopeless." I am both angered and confused to why Dr. Jin would still confidently recommend her patient an operation that she has deemed "clinically hopeless" beforehand. I am genuinely shocked by her complete disregard of ethicality as a dentist and sincerely urge patients to avoid her at all cost.

Dr. Jin is an excellent dentist. Very patient, thorough, professional, and has great chair-side manners. I've done all my fillings, several root canals with her, and had ZERO complications. She always took the time to explain every procedure in detail, and with great professionalism. I also extracted my wisdom teeth with Dr. Choyi (one of Dr. Jin's associates), had a great experience with them as well. Couldn't ask for a better dental clinic. Highly recommend!!!
