Dr. Ron Bentham - Penticton Dentistry & Dental Centre

I have been a fan of Ron Bentham Dentistry for nearly 30 years. Before I became a client of Bentham’s, as a boy I had bad teeth and an underbite with only two molars that really touched well for grinding food. Of course with those two kept wearing out with multiple fillings from other dentists, I was sent to orthodontists. One orthodontist said he couldn’t help me unless I went to an oral surgeon to have my bottom jaw sawn off my face, then pushed back and stapled back on with a moderate chance of permanent nerve damage! Followed by 2 years of braces. The other orthodontist said, no no! He recommended that I go to an oral surgeon and have my top jaw sawed off my skull, pulled forward and stapled back in place!! Followed by 2 years of braces. Insanity!! My dad took me to his dentist, Dr. Bentham, who said “no sawing, no surgery”. By measuring my bite and designing permanent crowns that fit over my current teeth, Dr. Bentham gave me a bite with all my teeth touching where they should, with the underbite fully compensated for. It took quite a few crowns and a quite a sit in the chair. But, Dr. Bentham saved me from a whole lot of unnecessary misery and possible jaw paralysis with his inspired thinking and practical creative solution to bring me relief and good dental health. I still have quite a few of those original crowns in good health after all these years. Thank you to Dr. Bentham and his wonderful team, from reception to the oral hygiene specialists to the dental and lab assistants. Thank you all! Thanks to Dr. Bentham and his staff I found out I have hypertension at my first appointment. He has a BP monitor on-hand and his hygienist and/or assistants do a BP check on all of their patients. I think more and more dentists should do this! Overall, he has a great bed-side manner and took the time to explain the procedure I was having which definitely put my mind at ease. Paula, his hygienist is by far the best of the best! I would certainly recommend Dr. Bentham and his team to anyone new to Penticton or anyone looking for a new dentist.

Can’t say enough about the excellent service I received. Upon arrival, I was at ease…felt like I was at home.! The friendly staff, atypical, inviting waiting room and need I go on. .. I was met with an incredibly professional,, cohesive team.! I had restorative and bridge work done. The extra touches in patient care were notable…aside from Dr. Bentham’s gentle , calming approach, his expertise and assembled team are exceptional!

Since moving to the area, I have found Dr Bentham and his staff to go above and beyond in regards to patient care. I have experienced amazing treatment for my teeth and have found the dental centre to carry out exceptional hygiene procedures. The dental centre is very clean, well maintained and you know you are in good hands as soon as you walk through their doors. Highly recommended! 10/10

I have been a patient of the clinic for over 8 years and enjoy getting my teeth taking care of there. My hygienist Paula is the best and recommend her for your cleanings. She is a pleasure to talk to and really knows what she is doing. Dr. Bentham has fixed the issues from grinding my teeth and has kept me in check with my dental hygiene. The staff is great and the facility is clean and I like that they schedule appointments so there isn't a crowd of people waiting to get in. Anytime I need a procedure or apparatus, I can get them done in a timely matter.

My experienced between the two Dental Offices. I called my own dental office May 16, 2022 because I was in horrible pain. They couldn’t fit me in for another 4 days so I called Dr. Ron Bentham’s office. I was pleased that they could fit me in next morning. Dr Bentham and his team took some X-rays and found two root canals teeth are badly infected. He took impressions and pulled the two teeth and stitches up my gum. He prescribed an antibiotic and gave me a list of instructions to take home. That night he called and asked how I was doing. I appreciated all the care and excellent treatment they provided me during my emergency visit. I was a new patient and everyone in the office was very friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant environments. Thank you so much Dr Ron Bentham and his team for giving me excellent dental care and service. I’m happy to have found a new dental office I can trust. Best dentist ever! Caring, thoughtful. Takes the time to explain what has to be done. Had a tooth pulled today and never felt a thing. Dr. Bentham cared enough to call later in the day to ask how I was doing. Can’t ask for more. Great hygienist as well. Love having my teeth cleaned there.

The staff at Dr. Ron Bentham office are the most friendliest, caring people I have ever experienced at a dental office they are genuine and made me feel so welcome. Dr. Ron listens to your concerns and then thoroughly explains what he can do or recommend you to do for your particular dental issues. I am so happy that after all the years of dreading going to the dentist, they puts all my fears of dentistry at ease. Now I have a great smile and I feel confident once again. They are such a great team of professionals.
