J	Joe Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr McIntyre perscribes medication without any diagnosis in some cases and misdiagnosis or misperscribes very harmfull medications in other cases (heavy antipsycotic drugs/ addictive antianxiety meds such as adivan which ruin peopkes lives even if they didnt ask for these drugs and didnt need them.) He also asks very personal questions about suicidal thoughts etc. when the door is open and other people can hear which is very inconsiderate. He seems a bit loony if you ask me. I hope the Authority of the Mental Health or Association of Psychiatrists would look into our terrible experience and do something, without further delay, I mean, without letting them paralyse or take our precious lives away, as he gives them unwanted, strong medication, using all of his power to convince you that you need them. Please help the innocent patients and their loved ones, who have become so vulnerable and victimized. Please bring the poor practice that occurs to the attention of the Hospital Authorities/Psychiatrists' Association of Canada so further harm can be prevented.

If, after 7 years of McIntyre psychiatric care and psychoactive drugs - whichhe supplies like crazy, btw (pardon the pun), you’re still in and out of the hospital emergency for mental health issues, it’s safe to say that whatever he’s offering you ain’t working! I suggest looking ANYWHERE else for help (priests, family members, support groups) instead of Dr. McIntyre's office. He wil permentaly mess up your brain by putting you on stuff you don't need.

He began prescribing me Clozapine and soon my parents got told that I required a 6 month stay in a ward when this wasn't true. I was one of many on that ward filled with Dr. McIntyre's patients. We were all misdiagnosed, overmedicated, and slowly turned to zombies. The medicine caused us to drool, sweat and stink heavily, wet the bed, etc. He singlehandedly destroyed my life. It took almost 20 years to reverse the effects of the medication, and I will never get those years back. Please revoke his liscence.

He has accomplished what several other doctors failed to do over years. Not every doctor is for everyone. Especially in this field, it's your responsibility as a client to determine if you click with doctor, if you do they can work miracles, if you don't your wasting your time and their's. Overall Dr. McIntyre is a good doctor who tells it like it is.

He isn't one to coddle, instead takes a professional approach with straight-forward, honest, no-nonsense medical treatment.
