Originally from Saskatchewan, Dr. Thom completed her Doctor of Optometry in Waterloo, Ontario and graduated with honours. During her education she had the opportunity to train alongside anterior segment, retinal, and glaucoma specialists. In 2018 she travelled to Ecuador with VOSH, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, and helped provide eye-care to nearly 3000 patients. She has a special interest in ocular disease and paediatrics and places patient education at the forefront of her practice values.
