M	Morgaine Halpin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family visited for the Oxford Ren fest. The bathrooms were great, even had showers! The grounds were a bit muddy, but it was a rainy weekend and there was a bit of construction going on, so that was hard to avoid.

We paid 300 dollars and no one ever even checked our tickets we never even saw a place for people to show proof hey paid at all our group just walked in and was never checked. Turns out dozens of other groups were telling us we shouldnt have paid because you can just walk in for free. I feel severely jipped that we paid so much when so many others were there free. And at how little structure there was. Also the booths sucked there was very little content that was enjoyable the canon going off CONSTANTLY gave our friend with panic disorder constant panic attacks and we had to leave early. People were rude and I was screamed at by someone in costume for using my phone. And made me cry. Our other friend with epilepsy had constant issues with the cannon too. Overall disappointed.
M	Megan Brekelmans on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really like the fairgrounds in Dorchester, because there are often big events going on! Sometimes it's a fair, sometimes a fiddle and dance weekend, sometimes an Art in the Barn type of event. The grounds are huge and maintained, and seem to be well managed. The events often hire local service clubs so that money goes back into the community. Overall, a good place.

The washrooms are adequate, but a bit less new feeling and cared for. I've been to some great events here, and it's tough to think of the grounds separately from the events.

A bit of rain didnt stop my daughter and I walking around the grounds twice and buying a few items. Great place for unique gift ideas but I suggest buying tickets in advance! Will visit again.
