Domeo Construction has been a customer of mine for several years. The houses they build are no ordinary houses. There are very few builders that can meet up to the incredible standard that Wim holds himself to. While my work always takes longer due to his attention to every single small detail, the satisfaction when the job is done is very worth it. My wife and I bought a custom home built by Domeo. The attention to detail and care that everything was perfect was evident throughout the entire process. Examples include his requesting a walk through two weeks prior to delivery to identify any drywall nail pops so that he could have them corrected prior to delivery as well as the professional binder full of care tips, owners manuals for appliances, paint chips and codes, etc. We highly recommend Domeo to anyone looking for a custom home.

We recently had Wim and his team complete a full scale kitchen and living room renovation at our home. From the beginning I was thoroughly impressed with Wim's exceptional communication and attention to detail. It was clear that he was experienced and knew every aspect of the job to be done. Once we agreed on the work, the budget, and the timeline, he stuck with the plan perfectly. I had frequent updates about what work was happening. Our timeline was quick and was met! In terms of the quality of work, Wim has an amazing eye and commitment to high quality detailed work. We are thrilled with our result and thrilled with our experience. My husband and I can’t recommend Domeo Construction enough. Every aspect of our house has been attended to with unsurpassable care and attention to detail. The design of the house is modern and beautiful, the finishing extraordinary, and outstanding workmanship is visible everywhere we turn. The floor plan is spacious and ideal; perfect for our family; no room for improvement. Favourite features of the house include the expansive windows on the main and basement floors, superior quality flooring throughout the home, a custom shower and an incredible fireplace feature in the living room. Our favourite outdoor features include our beautiful patio with timber beams and swings, top-notch finishing at every corner, a custom shop, and professional landscaping. Working with Wim has been an amazing experience, and it is very apparent that he works to make the home building experience exceptional for his clients.

If we could give one person a rating higher than 5 out of 5, Wim Kerkhoff would get it. We were extremely happy with the job Wim did as project manager of our dream home. Three words that come to mind: Integrity Perfectionist Organized Would we choose Wim again, now that we have gone through the building process? 100% YES, without a doubt. Below is a longer review, for those that are considering using Wim for your home. Integrity: Wim was very transparent. We loved the fact that we were able to pay all supplier and trade invoices ourselves, so we could see the final cost and what was billed. He even submitted “credits” on returned wood, nails, etc. He was forthcoming if a mistake was made and worked to find a suitable solution to the problem. He can be particular with which trades he likes to work with, as he expects their absolute best work. Even so they speak very highly of him as he treats them fairly. Perfectionist: Wim was very involved in the entire process, and was at the job site daily. He spent quite a bit of time analyzing our trades plans ( eg. cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, etc ) and caught several small errors. Wim definitely cares about getting the little things right. Organized: From day one, we got a detailed schedule with the timeline of the decisions we needed to make. He met with us in person a few times before we started our build to truly understand what we wanted and what was important to us. While we were building he always made sure the job site stayed clean and organized. Once our build was completed he handed us a thorough color coded binder with all the information from our trades, appliances, etc. Now who does that! In summary: If you want to build your dream home, please consider calling Wim. If we build again, we will be giving him a call.

This spring I hired Domeo Construction to do an extensive renovation of my main floor. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. I found Wim, the owner, to be extremely knowledgeable and professional. He very patiently addressed all my questions. He anticipated any challenges before they arose. As well, he was very considerate of the fact that my son and I had to live here during the construction. Through the entire process, from demolition to completion, he kept an exceptionally clean, organized job site. Best of all, aside from the “new” home, Wim kept the project on time, and on budget.
