★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to take my small dog to Susan to be groomed starting when she was 12 weeks old every 6-8 weeks until she was 14 months old. At first things were good. But Susan was not cutting my dog the way I requested (nothing fancy, just leave it a bit long) and instead would shave her down to 1/4 inch. She would give me excuses that my dog's hair was matted or she was wiggly and she could not get the trimmers through. My dog was also very nervous going in which I put down to normal groomer nerves. Until I went in early to pick her up and she was crying with Susan commenting she was whiney (or something similar) to me afterwards. I decided not to bring my dog back to Susan and switched to someone else. My dog isn't scared of the current groomer actually wags her tail when they hold her. We've been iswith current groomer for over 2 years and have no complaints. My advice always is listen to your animal, if they're not comfortable with the groomer it's a bad experience for everyone.

Susan is very intuitive and the addition of animal reiki to her list of credentials will enhance the services for the animals that are brought to her.
I would not hesitate to recommend Susan and her services to anyone who is fortunate enough to be in her grooming area.
