They are INSANELY overpriced (by thousands of dollars!!!). I visited 4 dentists / orthodontists for Invisalign consultations, all with very positive reviews and lots of experience. The other 3 were all very similar in terms of pricing and timelines. This place quoted me more than DOUBLE the others in both cost and timing. I have no idea how that's even possible but I am sickened that had I not gone to others after, I would have paid $4-5K more than necessary. I should also mention my teeth are relatively straight (I had braces when I was younger) and my friends can't really understand why I'm even doing Invisalign - so for anyone with real issues, I can't even imagine how much it would cost. Buyer beware!

I love this clinic and the dental team. They reach the requirements from RCDSO and go extra miles for the patients. I am happy with their service as well as my teeth now. Thank you everyone and happy holidays to all.

Happy to leave this review for MCO because I've had nothing but a great experience there. Everything from my initial consultation with Dr. Tam and his team, to my last appointment there was all extremely pleasant. The treatment plan that he set up for me was very ideal and realistic. As professional of a clinic as it is, everyone is so welcoming and personable there. Treatment all went according to plan and I couldn't be happier about that. Love my results :D

Was so pleased with my Invisalign treatment and the service the MCO team provided. I work downtown and they were able to accommodate early morning or lunch hour visits. I had a hard time with my benefits (my claiming error) and the team was VERY patient and available to help me get it sorted out quickly! A very great operation they have running - small touches like the welcome bags, toothbrush, and finishing pack of goodies really showed the team goes above and beyond. THANKS DR TAM AND MCO TEAM!!!!!!! ?

Although I am no longer a patient/client at MCO due to moving circumstance, I should have wrote this review awhile ago! Amazing experience at MCO and they blew me away with how friendly everyone is. My smile has drastically improved since I had started my Invisalign treatment and couldn't be happier!

I transferred OUT and terminated services with MCO due to the following reasons: INACCURATE HOURS -The hours listed online and on the voicemail are not accurate. No hours on the front door either. POOR FACILITIES and COVID PRECAUTIONS -Very small and cramped. -Not sure how often they clean the plastic sheets that covers each room. SUPERFICIAL DETAILS of the TREATMENT PLAN -After they scan the teeth, you are given instructions to get your teeth cleaned by your dentist and come back to pick up your trays 2 months later. -No mention of anything outstanding that needs to be completed prior to starting treatment (i.e. fix fillings). -No further details on their approach to treatment. They provide a very high level statement about the treatment plan and show a stop-motion video of the projected change for the teeth. NO COMMUNICATION of the ORTHODONTIST’S DEPARTURE -No communication was sent to say that the main orthodontist, Dr Shin, overseeing my case had left the office and the province. This is incredibly unprofessional and unethical to not let patients know about the departure and that the case had been transferred to another provider. MCO claims that the cases are worked on by "every orthodontist in the office as a team" but the handover of care doesn’t seem to involve letting patients know of this significant change in care. CONDESCENDING NEW PROVIDER -Within 2 minutes of meeting the new orthodontist, Dr Ivan Lo, his communication had a very condescending tone when answering my questions. He should also be more gentle when handling instruments on sensitive teeth. When I made a complaint to the office of his behaviour, one of the first solutions proposed was to transfer me out to another docbraces office. Dr Lo is the only practitioner at the MCO office and he’s only there on specific days of the month. LACK of ACCOUNATBILITY -Dental assistants do not introduce themselves and would suggest ideas on how to improve the case. When you bring up the ideas to the orthodontist and he thinks it’s not a good idea, the dental assistants will turn their backs and not support their own idea that they had just brought up to you. Perhaps it’s best to not say anything that they will not take accountability for. DELAYED TRANSFER OUT/TERMINATE SERVICES -No apologies were made after providing the wrong amount when the initial inquiry of transferring out and terminating services at MCO was made. It took more than half a month of back and forth correspondence with the treatment coordinators, Bonnie Wan and Maggie (who was actually on her way out too), to get Sara Anjum the Financial Coordinator to re-do the numbers and communicate the correct refund amount. I appreciate Sara Anjum for apologizing on behalf of MCO that this experience has been frustrating and long. -Almost non-existent communication with the treatment team once the decision to transfer out was made. Still needed to close the case with some final records/xrays. Treatment coordinators could’ve provided more support to coordinate the termination of treatment services at MCO. Again, thanks to Sara the financial coordinator for clarifying what was required to end my case at MCO. CONCLUSION -Ask for proof or details on previous cases that are similar to your case to see what they can do for you. MCO doesn’t do this. They scan your teeth, mention some goal XYZ, approve the plan without your say, order the trays, and treat patients like a number because they are a large corporation. If patients are not happy with how the treatment is going, it would be appreciated if the same amount of support and effort that went into helping them buy the treatment also went into helping them find a solution that they are satisfied with, especially when thousands of dollars are involved. -Best to go elsewhere that is not run by a corporation. -Double check anything you sign and make copies. - Go to Downtown Dentistry on University and Dundas - they are thorough, attentive, and will go above and beyond to make sure your are satisfied with the service.

Docbraces on McCaul offers excellent service. Every time I go for my routine visits, the appointments are quick and efficient, and they do a great job of educating me of the process. Their customer service is great, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Any time I’ve called with questions, they always get back to me within 1 business day. In terms of the invisilign itself, it’s working very well and I’m confident that I will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to keep my teeth straight after I’m done with the sets. Would highly recommend this company/location if you’re considering getting invisilign.
