Do not use this moving company. My Husband and I chose to use them for a move from Edmonton to Calgary. The service was terrible, furniture was broken, and the movers were incredibly rude. They arrived half an hour earlier than the window we were told to expect them, let themselves into our home and were disrespectful to my husband. They refused to put the furniture in the assigned rooms, so we still had to move everything ourselves anyway. When I emailed to let them know about our deplorable service, I was met with rude responses and refusal for any sort of refund.

Their work was carried out in a professional and efficient manner. I was able to relax and be impressed by their work. My move was made seamless thanks to their level of care. They are really good movers! They moved my mom to Calgary,AB, and it was a really good experience. They had a great price and quality work to go along with it. They are trust worthy guys, hard workers, and were very carefully with everything they moved. No weird games, no price changes, and we even got in on a special where we got 5 weeks free storage. I highly recommend this moving company.

Direct Canada Moving was incredible. They also had excellent communication. We used them to do some packing of our kitchen and dining room, and all of our large pictures and mirrors. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. So far, I have seen nothing broken as I have been unpacking! On the day of the move, 4 guys showed up and they were so incredibly fast, careful and polite and cheerful. The estimate had been 5-7 hours for the move, and the move took 4 hours. So completely worth every money you paid Very reasonably priced and I cannot say enough good things about them!They were efficient, well equipped, professional, and took great care of our belongings. I highly recommend them!

Direct Canada Movers is one of the best long distance moving company. I have a great experience with Direct Canada Movers. I had to Moved from Grand Prairie to Calgary and I did not have sufficient time. Then I called Direct Canada Moving Services. Next day three men came and they were fast, smart and experienced. They moved all furniture quickly and carefully. Thanks!

PART TWO OF TWO (See Review by Stephen Dios for Part One) The next main issue was the movers who dropped the stuff off. The first problem arose when the company informed us that we would receive a call 30 minutes prior to delivery. In Calgary we got multiple phone calls from the movers reminding us of the pickup time, but in Ontario we got no warning whatsoever. It just so happened that one of us happened to be outside when we received the phone call that the movers had suddenly arrived. This also meant we had no time to let our building manager know that we needed an elevator put on hold to move our items. Cue the madness. The company says they are not liable for any damage done to the property during moving. The movers were extremely unfriendly, parked in a no parking fire zone (again due to lack of warning to prepare the loading spot), and did not carefully maneuver any equipment around our new home. This resulted in lovely gashes and red paint scratches on the walls from their dolly when the movers forcefully pulling and twisting the dolly through the door and hallways instead of pulling it normally. The desk was practically shoved through the door, scratching the bottom in the process, and all items were being moved, deposited, and shifted so quickly and forcefully, I am shocked nothing was broken in the process. One mover attempted to be friendly and communicate the process, but what I can only guess was his superior interrupted him several times talking loudly in a language we did not know but what we can assume to have meant hurry up, we don't have time for this. In fact, during the entire process, English was used minimally. Surely a company that wants to take itself seriously can at least hire movers who can, at the very least, explain what they are doing and have some respect for the people paying them. I commend the movers in Calgary. I condemn the movers in Toronto. I would wholeheartedly not or ever recommend this company. I have many friends and family who are moving both within their city and across provinces, and I have made it a personal mission to actively steer people away from this company. As someone who has moved houses countless times, I know the process well, but even this company surprised me with how many issues arose. To whoever has made it this far, please take your money and valuable items elsewhere. Spend a little more to hire a company that has some basic respect for their client.

They charged me way too much for the move!! The truck was way too big. Even though I told the women in the office that I ended up moving quiet a bit of things the day prior and would only need 10 boxes of small and medium, she didn't suggest or even attempt to aquire a smaller moving truck for me. I feel totally taken advantage of. Plus the movers made no offers or attempts to help pack.
