This place is interesting. If you were just walking by on the street, you would not bother checking it out. It's just a mess of signs showing some food options - not appealing at all. Once you get up to the second floor though, it's a pleasant surprise. The place is clean and modern. Foodwise, the har gow (steamed shrimp dumplings) are solid - especially if you add some hot sauce. The ginger and green onion lobster is decent but the price ($38 for a plate of two) is a relative bargain. The service was average. The waitress didn't bring water and I had to ask twice for steamed rice.

Very friendly service with delicious dim sum. Recommend: Har gow and stir fried beef rice noodles.

I ordered through Ubereats! The best Chinese food I have had in a while. So delicious and fresh. I will definitely come back.

I’ve been looking for a quality (and ideally, inexpensive) dim sum place in the inner city, since moving from the northern suburbs where I had access to the best dim sum in the region. This place is solid and exceeded my expectations: dim sum was tasty, fresh, nicely sized, and didn’t seem to be loaded with MSG. We ordered the stuffed eggplant, custard buns, lotus leaf rice, and Malaysian rice noodles. With a generous tip, the bill came out to $20 per person. The space is clean, spacious, and modernly decorated, an interesting change of pace from other dim sum restos. Seems like a fun place to hang out at night too.

Affordable, quality food and high service. The last evening I dined there the place was full with everyone from every walk of life. Surely a telling sign the food is good. And it is. Service is unctuous and quick.

What a find. Our visit here was not planned. We happened to be in the Chinatown east of Toronto and we saw this place. Food was amazing. Service was impressive. We can't wait to be back and have more authentic Chinese cuisine. Try the green beans and their turnip cake. Memorable.

Seeing Gerrard East as a deep part of my childhood, during its peak and now being back - it's sad to see the devastation COVID had on the Toronto east China town. However, I'm so happy to be able to enjoy an amazing meal. We enjoyed Shanghai thick noodle stir fry with beef which was well presented, in good portion and the flavor was so authentic. The quality of the stir fry comes with "Wok Hei" - the strength of the wok. You can hear the roaring power and intensity which is a sure sign of quality chinese cuisine. The next dish, braised shitake mushroom and Chinese greens where the mushrooms were extremely soft, delicate and full of savoury flavor. Lastly, we couldn't help but order their Siu Mai, oversized and each having a piece of prawn inside. Lastly, the service was hospitable, not overly friendly, but respectfully kind. I also liked the music they had, corny 80s/90s slow jams and r&b pop songs. Highly recommended and keep the diversity of Hong Kong & Asian cuisine in Toronto alive!

Overall good experience, interesting menu, cozy atmosphere. We ordered the Typhoon Mountain lobster, which turned out to be 2 deep fried lobsters covered in fries with sweet and sour sauce on top. Interesting combo of flavours, and pretty certain these were McCain fries. The bbq pork buns were great, lots of filling and the bread is very soft. And they had great spicy mustard that was amazing with hargow. Would come back and try more items on the menu.
