We went to the diefenbunker for the first time for an escape room and it was incredible! Just the way the diefenbunker is set up, everything is laid out and the descriptions are set up - just so interesting. I would definitely make a trip back to see the rest of the museum.

Greatly preserved and excellent way to learn about so much history at the time of being constructed. They also host game nights during the after hours and have plenty of activitΓ©s to enjoy.

The museum is amazing, through its structure, it is showing various parts of particular period of Canada's history. The whole bunker was impressive and the guides described the way it was conceived for the times of emergency during the nuclear threats during war times. I would like to thank everyone who is still helping maintain the facility and showing tourists and visitors this wealth of knowledge and history. Reviewed by Tarek Belghith from RZ Network. Super cool place with lots of rooms converted into exhibits. While many of the rooms are empty and provide no access, the ones that are open are cool. However, the gift shop should have a better inventory of more souvenirs specific to the Diefenbunker.

We had a nice morning here. We missed out on a guided tour. Book early if you want one. It's a walk through the past with alot to take in. You could blast through in less then an hour but if you take the time to read and examine you can easily stay two hours. The ham radio operator spent a good amount of time explaining things to us. The price of admission is fair and the location is close enough to other attractions.

Diefenbunker A Cold War Bunker,Β  nothing more, nothing less. AWESOME! Guided or self guided tour is an option . I enjoyed the structure and the vintage contents within. There are four levels connected by stairwells. There is an elevator but you need a museum staff member to operate . There are washrooms available The parking lot is large and closer handicap parking.

LIKES: Was quite the experience! Worth a visit if you're in the area and have ANY interest in cold war history, the Canadian Forces or just curious about bunkers and shelter life! Think about the Fallout series of games and genre and this hits right home with that! OPPORTUNITIES: I think in the future they could greatly improve this museum if they add more period specific props and equipment, open up more rooms to explore and somehow integrate activities as well. SUMMARY: Enjoyable 2-3hrs exploring a really neat chunk of Canadian Cold War history, affordably! Tickets were like $17!

This is a nice place for a family visit. We went there with the kids and they had so much fun. I think it’s more interesting for adults, but you can take the kids with you, just be ready to explain them everything they see. The place looks really old and it creates unique atmosphere. I was surprised to find out that you can celebrate your birthday there or have a quest activity with you friends.
