★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service I have ever experienced. After driving for an hour we were late for our appointment but still had over half the appointment remaining. Was told we would not be allowed to even enter. Based on the other reviews I have read this sounds like the norm.
****Update*****
DGN management contacted me as they said in response. They are working with me to get my son outfitted for school and made assurances that the treatment I received is not repeated. Turn about fair play so I have adjusted my review to 3 stars to reflect actions I have experienced this far. If follow through on promises will adjust again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The heavy older lady with the short blond hair and accent (who I assume is the manager) rudely yelled at me in front of everyone because my son took 5 minutes over his time in the fitting room. Guess what, half an hour is not enough time for a kid to try on full uniform pieces in different sizes! She could have approached me discreetly and said it in a nicer way instead of angrily barking at me from across the store. What kind of customer service is this? This lady also was not wearing a mask, which I found very concerning, since everyone else in the store including customers and staff are required to. This was my first visit to this store ever and the whole experience felt rushed and pressured for time. The only good part was the young lady who helped us, who was very nice & knowledgeable. I think she would make a MUCH better manager than the person who is already there. All the other staff of young women were nice. Too bad this location doesn't care about their customer service, since they have a monopoly on the school uniforms in Barrie and you can't just go anywhere else. Just see how dismal their reviews are here on Google and on Yellow Pages for an example.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible product, last year I purchased my daughters uniform and within a couple of washes I looked like a rag, holes and it faded. Extremely expensive and very poorly tailored, we had to get all the pants adjusted. I’m surprised that this company is still providing the uniforms exclusively (according to the school), fortunately this year we discovered a store called Sinergy, superior quality and much cheaper, of course the school is saying these uniforms aren’t allowed but I consulted a lawyer and I’m just hoping my daughter gets sent home or is asked to show tags on her pants because I’m ready to sue, it’s against the law to do so, the school board may have signed a contract with this company but they can’t force parents to purchase the kids uniforms there, specifically when the price difference and quantity is astronomical. It’s time for a change or just open up options and welcome competition, stop this monopoly. DgN killers is simple poor quality, over priced and has the worst customer service ever, they will not replace anything even though they say they will. I’m so happy I found an alternative becuase I’ve been dealing with DgN kilters for over 7 years now and I can’t believe finally I have found this place. Amen! Sinergy all the way!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought my children’s uniforms from your store in Barrie- Still in the original package never opened- Could not return due to COVID-19 provincial restrictions. Called and ask the staff if I can request a return now. I was informed that Return policy is 30 days and cannot be returned. I feel no empathy from the staff and company. Did not even want to give a credit note- please watch out before you purchase from this company and get their return policy during COVID-19 in writing. Extremely disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was the worst experience ever. If I had the choice they would never see another dime of my hard earned money. The easiest way to say how bad my experiences have been at DGN in Barrie is I'm considering putting my kids into another school board. Just so I don't have to deal with these people again. I just don't understand how they get away with treating people the way they do and stay in business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been over a month and cannot get ahold of anyone regarding picking up my sons very expensive order. E-mails have been sent, no replies. The phone number gets nowhere. Lady working the store was incredibly disinterested in her job and seemed annoyed when spoken to. Will be looking online for used uniforms for now on and also getting clothing from Old Navy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an amazing experience! The lady who helped me was so helpful and kind along with the cashier. As a new commer into Barrie and first time shopper in this store. The whole process was quick and easy. Plus I was even taken in earlier. So thank you DGN-Kilters! ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still dealing with the same concerns, this company does not value customer service and I do not understand how the school board is still supporting this company. You can never get through to a store or on the phone to customer service. Such a disappointment. If you have the option of dealing with another company I would recommend you do so, because you will only be disappointed with this one
So yes i did have an appointment and got a hoodie for my son on April 13 and it is already ripped at the seam! quality and customer service is poor.
