J	Jessica Rae on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff but beer quality is inconsistent and the tasting room Is not something to get excited about. We were fans of the Sunday Funday Breakfast Stout, However, sometimes it is amazing and sometimes it is dull and flat.
R	Ryan Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When last I was there the sample bar was about the size of a kiosk and not much for atmosphere. But the beer is among the best Canadian beer I've tried. If they still make it, the coffee pale ale is probably in my top 10 all time. I will miss greatly not having the access to this brewery. Hopefully they grow enough to begin distribution out of province. Would have given it 5* but it's missing the tasting room experience I enjoy.

A	A A ron on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a must stop when I come down! Nathan is incredibly knowledgeable about his craft. The barrel aged brew's are simply delicious! Highly recommend you check them out! The new larger taproom is nice and spacious.
G	GPS Gio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived at 2 pm open on Friday 07/23 with 4 of us. Two flights for $10 each, a fair priced pint and a relatively expensive 5 oz pour of just mediocre wine for $10. 4 beers tasted in my flight were barely quaffable and a couple downright awful. My mate who is an accomplished, knowledgeable and humble Brewer ordered the full pint and he immediately said his pint was really off and not right (something more than bad uncleaned lines). The wine was finished and I left most of my flight full, the other flight was also not well received and was just tasted like my flight and they had same comments. The full pint was also tasted by the other three of us and man alive it was skanky. We had all this full beer and left quietly shortly after arriving. Don’t know where all the great reviews are from and moreover dude behind the counter was also clueless when asked a few easy questions whilst ordering. Avoid is my council. Caveat Emptor!!!! Would give ZERO if it was an option.

J	Jason Beers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very excited to visit Detonate on my trip to Summerland and showed up at 2PM when both Google and their website said they would be open on Saturdays. We waited for 15 minutes and it didn't open up. We called to ask if they were opening and the person who answered wasn't friendly and just said they weren't opening. Very disappointed.

The website and google both say they were supposed to be open at 2. They weren't, we waited, decided to call, and whoever answered seemed bothered by the call. Needless to say, it doesn't seem as though they care about their patrons nor their brewery.
