★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow what an interesting place! Part warehouse veggie shopping, part ice cream shop, part fruit stand, part petting zoo, part goat climbing gym! Mashup. Somewhat confusing once you get into the place, but very enjoyable. Plenty of antique farm equipment. Oh and the setting SPECTACULAR! If you are a diy salsa type, tomato sauce canner , peach canner jam maker This is the place. Loads of help thanks to gracious immigrant farm workers. Really nice guys, very helpful. We drove 3.5 hours to get here. We will be back next year. Just don't be in a hurry. Their large wagons make wee traffic jams. Everyone however is in a good mood and ready to support a great local ranch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, i would almost consider moving to Ashcroft just to have this as my local shop. Prices are cheap, selection is bountiful, staff are amazing and the drive is gorgeous. Lots of credit to the set up of this location, the really thought it out well with the area, building, petting zoo and items available. I'll be bringing any out of town friends here while also talking it up as much as possible to locals. Thank you so much for operating this store and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment to learn and shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just paid a visit to Dessert Hills yesterday and was shocked at the prices. Yes there is COVID and yes inflation is a factor. I get that. But to increase a Flat of pansies/ marigolds goes from $10 to $16.50 seems rather harsh. Even their taco outlet. Two tacos each for two people at $5.75 per taco, now you’re talking $12.50 per person; $25/ couple for two tacos each. A little over the top IMHO. At those prices the shine will rub off pretty quick I expect. Just have to cut back as this pensioner doesn’t get an increase like that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't think there is anything bad you can say about Desert Hills. Their plants and planters are amazing and I love when they have all their own fresh grown produce at the end of summer. Staff are always amazing. Five star experience for adults and children.
