As a first time home buyer, I don't think I could have felt as confident in the process as I did if we didn't have Derek. He told us all of our options, walked us through the whole process, gave us resources, told us important points we needed to know, and he told us things that others neglected to tell us. When we asked for more information, he delivered beyond expectations. He was reasonable in telling us what we should expect to be able to buy but hopeful and ambitious to get us what we wanted. He knows the tricks and what to expect when you're looking through houses. He does his homework and makes sure you know everything you need to about the house and the area it is in before you move forward. Outside of actual real estate business, he provided us with resources for moving and making sure that we knew what we needed for that whole process like changing our address on legal documents and everything, cleaning services, lawyers he trusts, surveyors, plumbing, painting, paving, movers, everything we never would have thought of! It will make the whole process so much less stressful for us. Derek literally worked miracles and got us our dream house! Not to set high expectations, but in under a week of meeting Derek, we put our first offer on our dream house that we thought was out of reach and ended up getting accepted! He went through hoops and problem-solved along the way to meet all of our needs. He always had our best intentions in mind and was quick to respond to our messages when we needed him.
