★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Derailed has awesome mechanics and the owner, Jon, is super knowledgeable about everything from the local trails to whatever sort of broken bits your bike might have. Friendly service and good people operating out of a cool old building. Sometimes it's a little busy but the service is always worth the minor wait.

I bought a part for my bike that was already in there but they took the part back and what I paid for the part would cover "labour costs" for literally a 5 minute job. Most likely they did this because we were just passing through. Anyways I wasn't impressed. Prices are more on the expensive side though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a terrible experience. No enthusiasm or interest in helping at all. I had some questions and was provided very limited help in answering them. On top of that they didn't give any insight into other options of addressing my issue and were rather blunt and rude to me. Just needed a little bit of quick help which I have received at many other shops before and wasn't provided the insight into fixing the problem by myself or with their service, that being time-frame or cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honest owner and great service. I took my road bike in for a tune up and didn't realize how silent it can be until after I picked it up. Very fair pricing for the work they do. The secret is out in Golden as they are busy so would recommend booking ahead if you can. I'll be back annually. My husband had a tune up last year and was just as happy with them. K

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good friend suggested these guys after I wrecked a tire and needed a new one along with a wheel true. We dropped it off before noon and it was available before closing, new tire on and wheel nice and straight. They promised next day service with a new 29x2.3 minion dhf all tubeless uped. A nice touch was my wheel back amazingly clean too. I really appreciate the quick service for a guy from outta town, price was right and guys are super friendly. I was able to get in all the riding I was capable of because of these guys on my short stay in Golden. Thank you.
