About Dee's Kennels
Dee’s Kennels is owned and operated by Dee Valstar. She is assisted when necessary by her husband Paul and two daughters Thea and Annelies.
Dee is a graduate of the Olds College Veterinary Technology program and brings over 18 years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician to the kennel business. She has training and experience in administering medication both orally and parenterally as well as having full training in animal first aid and CPR.
Dee also graduated from the Apex Academy of Professional Grooming and Animal Arts- Assistant Groomer Program in May 2014.

Some Pros:
-Dee is a vet technician and highly skilled at dealing with animals
-Animals are happy when they leave and worn out from long walks and play time
-you get pictures of your pet playing on facebook
Some Cons:
-slightly higher rates than other kennels in the area
-very limited hours for dropping off or picking up pets means you have to make your schedule fit Dee
-Dee tends to chat, so give yourself time during drop off and pick up
I would (and do) recommend her to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dee is wonderful with my dogs ! They get so much exercise and attention that when they come home, they are so tired and calm and rest for a good day after . I recommend her to everyone. She takes photos of your dogs too while away so you can see how much fun they are having!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have owned dogs for the last 15 years. As needed (mainly vacation time) our dogs have been kenneled in several different kennels. First in Alberta where we lived and now in Saskatchewan. Dee's kennel is by far the BEST! Dee really cares about her boarders and they become part of her family while they are there (lucky dogs!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dee's is by far the best place to send your pups! My dogs absolutely love going there, they literally start bouncing around the back of the car in excitement when we get close. She has a Facebook group where she posts pictures of the dogs daily, so you can check in- which is really nice. Slightly pricier than some other kennels but definitely worth it- for the fun time your dog has and for your own peace of mind when you're away.
