LJ always makes my eyebrows look AMAZING. I am super picky when it comes to my eyebrows and I'm always so impressed after every service there. She magically gives me eyebrows I never knew I had. I've had my eyebrows laminated, waxed, and tinted with henna there. Highly recommend!

I've been going to Julie regularly for a volume set and she's amazing! I appreciate how quickly and thoroughly she works. She also uses a good quality glue and carefully controls temperature for the best results. The new studio is beautiful and clean with comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

I had a brow and lash treatment with LJ. It was my first time I did something like this and was so pleased at the natural results. The studio was inviting and clean. Thanks so much and hope to be back soon!

My experience with Rona was so awesome. She is a very well experienced esthetician and the studio is very clean. Definitely, I will go back regularly.

I was looking forward to my appt at Dalaga because they do a great job at marketing via social media. Since I’ve broken out due to maskne, I asked LJ for her opinion on whether or not a deep pore cleanse was for me because I was looking for something a little more invasive. I let her know that I prefer manual extractions with lancets and she told me that her team loves utilizing manual extractions and lancets during treatment. She did a great job selling me on the service and I booked for the following weekend. I let her know that I’d be getting my lashes done the day before and asked her if she’d still recommend this, she was very hospitable and said that since their specialty is lashes this would be no problem , that the staff is well trained in working around them. When I got to the studio I was booked with a different esthetician who seemed a little annoyed right away (as in: I walked in and she just stared at me, I said “hi I’m Leah :) and I have an appt with ____.” With no facial expression she said “I’m ___.” I said “nice to meet you!” and she said nothing and walked away to what I guessed was to set up the treatment room). I wanted to overlook this awkward introduction because I figured personality differences didn’t mean she wasn’t good at her job. I maintained faith in the process. However she progressively got more annoyed with me and made me feel high maintenance when I let her know I had just gotten my lashes less than 24 hrs ago but LJ said it would be fine. I asked her to please avoid my lash area. I noticed she continued to press on my lashes with the hot towel and when I let her know she asked “have you ever gotten lashes done before?” in a sarcastic tone. When I let her know that LJ told me that typically they just steam the bottom half of the face to avoid the lashes, the esthetician told me that was impossible. Even though I felt uncomfortable at this point, I continued on. When we got to the extractions , I was looking forward to a true deep pore cleanse but I was surprised that extractions took less than a minute , because I’m used to more work on my nose, cheeks and chin. I asked her about this and she told me I didn’t have any pores on my chin at all which I knew wasn’t the case because it is historically a big problem area for me. The esthetician told me that I had too many requests and was confusing her. My requests were for extractions (since it was a deep pore cleanse) and also to avoid my lash area. But when I asked for this she was visibly annoyed. She told me that all of her clients request her because she has been doing this job for 1 year and is the best at extractions so she didn’t know what I wanted. I decided to provide feedback to the owner, LJ, but it wasn’t received well when I told her I felt uncomfortable by the esthetician’s sarcasm and belittling- I was told that I was belittling the esthetician. Agreeably I did question whether the esthetician needed glasses as she kept telling me my skin was great and I had no pores even though I currently am experiencing inflamed maskne and clogged pores. I also wished that I was paired with somebody who had more than a year of skin care experience . I don’t think my experience was professional, because parts of our private conversation were posted on their Instagram stories, but no context was provided. I feel over all that my feedback was immediately dismissed. I think conflict resolution could have gone better from the business side, or some form of understanding/compassion for the customer experience. Since there was no acknowledgement that the way I was treated in the first place was wrong, the angst only grew. I also think that this misunderstanding could have been avoided if I didn’t book this appt based on false pre-tenses. The actual treatment is far from what it was explained to be based on my initial conversation with the owner. Maybe for somebody this is a great facial, but for my particular skin at this time, I would definitely require a more advanced treatment.

Such a professional, clean, and welcoming studio! The service is top notch, I felt very pampered and taken care of. A truly blissful, relaxing experience. I got my lashes done by Gillian, they were so lovely!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape from all the craziness.

In my experience, Dalaga studio is friendly, professional, personable, homey, and cozy. LJ and her team are passionate, committed and competent at their craft. They treat you like a human being where you feel heard and seen. On top of that you feel beautiful inside and out once you leave, well sure as hell I do when I get my lashes done (which I have been since they opened). Keep up the amazing work girls!
