About Dad's Organic Market
Without proper nutrition, people living in poverty experience high levels of illness and stress. Hunger negatively affects every aspect of daily life in ways that are difficult to understand by those who have not experienced this challenge. By responding with two nutritious meals, 365 days of the year, the Inn empowers youth and adults to bridge the gap between cheques and better manage other daily issues. Serving the needs of vulnerable, marginalized people strengthens our community. By eliminating the stress of securing two meals, individuals and families can focus on other relevant issues such as securing housing, finding employment, creating healthy relationships and education for themselves and their children.
Those seeking meals and other services at the Inn include: individuals and families struggling to survive on a fixed income, people experiencing addictions and mental health issues, single mothers and fathers, senior citizens and new immigrants. The Friendship Inn serves between 200-350 meals each day at breakfast; and between 400 and 700 meals for lunch.
The Friendship Inn serves breakfast from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and lunch is served from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. All meals are offered free of charge, with no questions asked.
Our Warm Meal Program has made it easy for hundreds of our customers to quickly and easily donate nutritious food to people in need in our community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What sort of grocery store closes at 6 during the week? (cue the canned 'we are open late on Thursdays to better serve you') And closed on Sunday? Laughable. Forced me to look for my daughter's milk elsewhere. Will go out of my way to avoid this store. With those hours, it doesn't look like they want to make money anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I refuse to shop here as they have no compassion for staff with sick children at home .. with covid in the schools and kids getting sick they punish a mom who has to stay with her sick kids .. never will I step foot in this store .. high prices for stuff u can get elsewhere.. nothing like being let go cause u have sick kids at home

I trust that dad's organic products are fully organic, compared to some grocery store products where they slap an organic label on it, but it's not actually organic. We ended up just going to the closest grocery store for the organic products we needed. They do have many great products to choose from though, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I feel like their website should have some type of inventory or what products they have or something like that.

One cashier always shares in conversation and often times even remembers customers like family, she’s very lovely and very appreciated along with all the other smiling staff who actually care about the store they work for, you can see it with the pride everyone seems to exude just by working at Dads organic market. Highly recommend Dads, it feels good to spend my money locally and mindfully at Dads.
