I went there and ordered my food, the guy was rude and dismissive, then I went to go sit at a table and wait, it was the most disgusting table I’ve ever sat at in my entire life. Wipe it down maybe. Then the lady calling order numbers was just as rude. Not a friendly place during my visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good icecream. Ordered a small and a small is quite big for our kids. They had a smaller option (tiny?) next time we’d get that for them. Delicious icecream. Lots of nice seating in the shade. It’s a tradition to stop here when we pass through Saskatchewan

D's recent addition of an eat in dining room makes this more than a take-out and ice cream stand. The owner says they plan to be open year-round and will be liquor licensed. We've rode out from the city on motorcycles for ice cream, but this time we came prepared for supper and to sit outside on a beautiful fall ride. Pleasantly surprised at the eat in option. Food orders still is a counter window order system with the menu on a sign display. There is also a window outside for ordering.
The fish and chips wrapped in restaurant quality "newspaper" was a real treat and huge portions! Fries had skin on, batter on fish was crisp and the fillet was white, flaky and moist. Tarter sauce and malt vinegar packets on the side. The owner asked how everything was which is a nice touch.
There are options for Gluten-free items for Celiac customers which is awesome. We ordered and sat outside and I noticed there was Wi-Fi. We did move inside due to aphids and since the opportunity was there to see it before winter. I would take a ride out there at any season for the fish and chips and highly recommend. I don't think I will ever go back to Joey's again for fish since we discovered this place. Not a very far ride in from the Highway 22. Pavement is good and we were on motorcycles. Good to know we can now go there on snowmobiles in winter.
