If you have a sense of adventure or looking to get off the beaten track then Cypress Hills has something for you.
With zip-lining in the Saskatchewan side, downhill skiing on the Alberta side and hiking trails into the back woods of the forest, there is as much adventure as you want there to be. Canoe and Kayak on one of the lakes in the park, travel by car to the viewpoints overlooking the prairies at the highest point between the Rockies and New Labrador or try one of the programs to get you out into nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet and rustic campsite. Its down a 10km gravel road. There are toilets and garbage bins. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. When we stayed is was $18/night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple, not to crowded. Great for tents.Couldn't book ahead so don't arrive too late on busy weekends. Can use as a base to explore Alberta side of the park also. Have cash to pay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Organized, fenced to keep stock out, flat and grassy. There's a stream on the far side, but the banks are steep. Totally silent at night except for the stream.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little slice of heaven right here in Saskatchewan! My family would drive to this campground no matter how far we move because we love it so much. The animals, the campgrounds, the facilities, activities, etc are some of the best! You have to check out the general store too!
