Snow removal is much easier with rubber paving! Rubber paving maintains a slightly porous, textured surface which affords two advantages for Canada’s harsh winter snow and ice. Firstly, water does not pool easily on the surface, reducing the thin layer of glare ice that is the cause of many falls and injuries.

Secondly, for heavier snow/ice layers, the textured surface makes it easier to scrape than concrete, where the bottom layer of ice adheres tenaciously. If needed, it is safe to use salt or any other de-icer. We recommend using a plastic shovel and outfitting your snow blower with plastic stripping.

The rubber paving was done faster than I thought and the crew worked so efficiently. During set up, they were very accommodating to what we wanted, we had old shrub roots right on the edge of where the new driveway was going and they brought the machinery and man powered to take them out for us. They were always very friendly when we asked questions and asked us for our opinion as they went along. I would 100% recommend them for not only their product but also professionalism and customer service.

The front of the driveway was completely beat up and crumbling and the rear had sunk by the house causing the grade to slope towards the foundation. CVS completely transformed my driveway. They built up the grade in the back and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. I also really liked all the different colour options. The crew worked very hard and got the job done quick. Would highly recommend.

They are a little more expensive per square ft than some of the comparables in the chain stores, but Nolan was great to work with and did give us a slight discount due to the quantity we ordered. Overall, the price is was worth it as we appreciated the opportunity to support local and it truly is a quality product!
