★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful paved trail around the lake with free excercise equipment along the way. This area is very clean and well maintained. There is one big hill, but other than that it is very walkable for all types. In the winter there is maintained ice skating surface on the lake, both a rink and a loop. This area is also frequently used for community events. I highly recommend it as a nice place to go for a walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely lake for being in the middle of a city. Lots of flowers and trees in bloom right now.
For those who can't do scary, steep downward slopes or are on rollerblades, go counter-clockwise around the lake. There is a very steep slope that you'll go down if you're going clockwise around the lake near the southwest side, but pretty much everything other than that is very manageable for beginners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cranny Lake has such a lush backdrop that takes your experience to the next level. I love watching the little duck families that frequent the lake. The trails are covered with a canopy of trees that provide great shade from direct sunlight. Great place for the kiddos to run around and it even has exercise equipment along the trail. Cranna Lake is my happy place.
