I've had many massages from Sherry and continue to return because they have been the best massages I've had. She has a genuine care and is extremely knowledgeable in her craft. Recently I've had acupuncture with John to remove severe pet allergies... I am shocked and so happy to say my allergies are 95% better if not completely gone. And only after a few sessions... Absolutely incredible. 100% recommend Cranky Knot
S	Salty Dog on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had always been curious, but nervous of accupunture. I found Cranky Knot as it happened to the closest clinic to my place. First of all, this is a wellness center. The environment will be relaxing, clean and smells really nice. It is not going to be the cold, mechanic, clinical setup that most RMT Clinics seem to strive to be in Downtown Vancouver. I had an amazing RMT session with Sherry and she told me about Dr.John, their accupunturist. After much thought for a few weeks, I decided to give it a try. Dr.John is methodical, focused on the patient's needs and well learned and practiced. He will show you information about your body and answer questions you may have, if you have any. I think my experience was optimized because he worked with my hesitations and what I was comfortable with. I will say the same to Sherry, who is the owner and insures whoever practices at her establishment are well qualified, professional and amazing people. Shout out to Spencer as well that is an actual live human that will answer your questions and help with your booking, unlike most clinics in Vancouver. Having a competent and patient individual to help facilitate the experience was a huge plus to the overall experience at Cranky Knot.

Sherry's Massages: I first visited the place in 2018 after my friend recommended Sherry for RMT. I've previously been to other RMT's but didn't find it very effective. With Sherry, you really get to experience what deep tissue massage is - she is a great at what she does. She listens to your problems and what you are experiencing and provide the appropriate massage. Also, Sherry genuinely wants you to get better, not just after the massage but everyday. She would recommend stretches and other things that you can do to deal with chronic pain. John's Acupuncture: I knew of acupuncture but I always had fear of needles. After multiple recommendations from my friend and Sherry, I booked an acupuncture appointment with John. On my first visit, John did the initial assessment and I communicated to him that I have a fear of needles. John acknowledged this and was extra cautious and communicative throughout the session. John will only work within your comfort level and find a solution for your pain. If you are someone that is scared of needles or on the fence about acupuncture but is curious, I can't think of a better person to see than John. Other good things: -Spencer at reception is always very helpful and professional -Direct billing for health insurance -Easy and convenient online booking system -E-mail and text appointment reminders -Strong COVID preventative measures

It was so bad at times that I couldn't even sit or stand. It was always there and it felt like I didn't know a life without this pain. Until my friend recommended John to me. I was seeing John for the course of two months with weekly appointments. What I really appreciate about him is that he genuinely cares about determining the root cause of the pain. He investigated my habits by asking excellent questions which made me realise how everything in the body is connected, which was a real eye-opener. The acupuncture treatments were so relaxing, I felt seen understood and calm. John always took his time and was never even once in a rush. He understandably explained everything and gave me many simple exercises to do at home to continue reaping the benefits from my treatments. HIGHLY recommend.

My daughter was super nervous before having a massage and refused it. But surprisingly, after she got care from Leni, she was so satisfied and became massage lover! She said Leni helped her to relax and she was super kind. Most importantly, her pain is gone. Now she is having acupuncture every week by John. He is different from the acupuncturists I've met so far. Actually he analyzes your body and comes up with a solution. I had back bone issue and swollen legs and Sherry is my healer. She’ll answer every question if you ask any issue with your body or need to check why it’s hurting you. Five star service and professional staff. Thank you all!

Her connection to the body as she works is astounding, hands down one of the best, calming, and body-relieving massages I've experienced. My session was wonderful and I did not want the hour to end. The after care is very helpful, I always leave feeling so relaxed and nourished. Highly recommended.
