★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boys were understandably a bit miffed as we passed not two, not three, but SIX ice cream and gelato shops to reach Cows Quebec. All complaints ended when they were served two scoops in scrumptious waffle cones at the best ice cream parlour in Quebec City!
Covid19 responsible, bilingual, friendly staff who deserve more and better tips!
They also sell masks, which helps prevent problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The famous PEI ice cream is finally here! Very funny t-shirt and nice gift section. Friendly staff that speaks great staff English and French. The cheese is very good but the ice cream is phenomenal!!! The home made cone are great but I really like there milkshake... very very good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ice cream is awesome. Every single flavor is simply astonishing. If you go to PEI you can experience much better service and also faster. This specific point in Québec city is different. Service is too slow. Your ice cream melts while you pay at the cash since you are to use face cover. Very very slow service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After getting addicted to their Ice Cream in Charlottetown, PEI on a road trip, sweet tooth fix came in handy here. Freshly made Waffle Cone is a highlight. MOO themed flavors and merchandise. Alas, only one in Ontario in Niagara on the Lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here many times during my trip down to Quebec City recently, and had a nice time. Honestly, what I noticed even BEFORE the ice cream was the massive amounts of merch they had. There are so many shirts, toys, socks... you name it, they (probably) have it. Like, it's astronomical. I don't mean that in a bad way - it's fun, and I came home with quite a bit of it!
The ice cream (which in my head I still view as 'secondary', even though this is an ice cream store) was good. I got the "Caramel Moochiato", while my girlfriend got the famous "Wowie Cowie". We greatly enjoyed both! I can't say it blew my mind, but it was good and made me happy while I ate it.
I also bought some of their cheese, since they sold quite a few varieties of it. Personally, my favourite was the "Appletree Smoked Cheddar". It was VERY good, and frankly, I feel like I enjoyed their cheeses more than their ice cream. I do recommend buying some cheese if you stop by.
I can't give 5 stars however, because the hours were very odd. At least when I was down, the times the store opened was NEVER what was posted online. It opened and closed seemingly randomly. It was slightly frustrating, as there wasn't a notice posted saying why this was happening.
Still, the staff were sweet (and as another reviewer said, knew English well) and I still would come here again. Mainly for the cow puns and merchandise.
