★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosens Bay Beach is one of the 3 large beaches in Kalamalka Provincial Park, in Vernon, BC.
Cosens Bay Beach has become a boaters beach-head paradise, where lots of boaters access the beach via Kalamalka Lake, but fret not, regular people can access the beach by taking the gravel road and a short trail from "Kalamalka Provincial Park Cosens Bay Parking Lot". It is a bit of a hike, but worth the time and effort to spend the day at a Caribbean style beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely gorgeous location. Remote enough to be hike or bike in, lots of picnic tables, outhouse-style washrooms and a huge gravel beach.
I imagine the view would be spectacular when we're not choking in smoke.
