W	Walter McWilliams on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a story and a half! I had a problem with them and it got quickly resolved. You see, I went and couldn't pay my taxes - on the day they were due. Because of Covid the main entrance was closed. However the receptionist spoke to me through the glass, and advised me that since I wasn't paying by cheque to go to a bank. I was concerned that a pay lag would incur a penalty, and she agreed. I did go and kill 30mins waiting in line at my bank. Concerned, I emailed my local councilor. Within 20 mins he and a town administrator had emailed me back reassuring that there was a period of grace and that I was fine. Great councilor and administrator, great response. Amazing local, and I mean local, government performance. Thank you.

i	iiUnknown_ Namesii on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carrick has smelled like sewage for 2 weeks now! Called the town and they won’t do anything! They just keep boycotting my calls and saying it’s an ongoing issue. There have been on and off sewage smells since October 31st of 2020! How much longer?
B	Brett Jimmy Madden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Three years ago now town employees mistakenly scalped all of the trees across the front of my property with a grading machine not designed for that type of work. The results were horrific, not to mention, the drift wood fence was destroyed along the entire length. They came back to repair the fence after I voiced my concern. The repair lasted until the next wind. Also we were promised some replacement cedar shrubs in the fall, to fill some of the gaps left by the destruction. The repairs were supposed to commence in the fall of 2019 but when nobody showed up we inquired again in 2020 with another promise of the fall of 2020. To this point I have not heard a thing from them. Really disappointed since the Mayor knew about the issue almost from the beginning and assured us it would be rectified. One Star service at best!
