Great location , well stocked, access to bicycles, great for families!

Only one bathroom make staying here a challenge. Wonderful location

Positive: Location is fantastic and although we only coresponded with the host via note/email, he reached out to check on us and made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend this place. Entire suite was very clean..

Unfortunately, our stay did not live up too the great reviews. We stayed for a weekend trip this spring and were very excited to visit. When we arrived no staff was present to check us in- which was a tad disappointing since we had never been before so we had no idea where to go. After a day of excursions, we came back to our room to find the someone had been in it- without our knowledge. Normally, in a hotel situation that is okay (hotel service turns down your bed or cleans the room etc.) because you have a safe to lock your valuables in (passports etc.) however the room did not have this, which left us very nervous, so we ended up packing around a lot of our items to make sure they would be safe. As advertised wifi was available- however we never had access to it and could not find it in any of our information books in the room. Like it has been said in many other reviews, the b&b is located directly under Victoria's international Airport's flight path- which is very loud. The bed was clean, however, very squeaky/old; you couldn't roll over without making noise. Finally, like when we arrived, no staff was available to check us out. We never saw a single other person coming or going the entire stay. No staff or guests. We only were able to communicate with staff via a telephone outside the house entrance. Very disappointed because most reviews said the exact opposite of our experience.

Negative: With kids, the bedroom wasn’t the best because xurtain were not black out, so we had to improvise, but we really enjoyed the stay. Wish there was A/C during the day, but opening the doors and windows got the air flowing pretty good too. Darren was a great host, and helped us with anything we needed!.

This place is absolutely lovely! I can't say enough nice things about it! Darren the host is fantastic! Super friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and cozy, and loaded with everything a person needs to feel like their at a home away from home! I highly recommend staying shirt or long term. The location is perfect! There is everything a person needs to enjoy a nice ocean get away. Kayak's SUP, BBQ out door kitchen & bikes! It's perfect! I don't think I want to go home! ?

Positive: Location was perfect. Near main street of town and near beach walk in pleasant area of town. Spacious clean suite. Very comfortable bed. Nice little deck. Well appointed kitchen with full size fridge and range. Fast Wifi. Had I wanted upstairs accommodation it would have been perfect.. Negative: Owner knew I was coming for my dad's 91st birthday and that I had my dog. The room was up a steep flight of outside steps. Inconvenient for both dog and my dad. The little deck was too small to sit socially distanced from my dad - during COVID times that was a problem. Booking.com information indicated the suite was on the ground floor so I expected it to be as advertised..
