★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called Coquitlam Fire Station to report an open flame inside my neighbour’s house. Children were sitting around it. I could see it through their patio doors.
I was told that the fire department would not come out for that.
They told me to call the police, RCMP. I asked for the phone number and I was told to call 911. I called and asked for police. I was told by them that it was not an emergency and I should not call 911.
I feel bad that they might burn the house down and there is nothing I can do.
Why could you not send someone to check this out?
