M	M K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I originally tried to get my son in for his first dentist visit through Vancouver Coastal Health who I swear to God wanted copies of practically every single document since his birth in order to prove coverage, some fairly obscure and taking time and effort to track down, then warned me they were booked for the next six months and told me to call back at a later date to make an appointment, but when I tried to the phone lines were busy for 3 days straight. Dr. Kim's office answered my call on the second ring, booked him an appointment for the next week, and, being reasonably competent, managed to establish his coverage just fine without requiring me to fax them anything. I rescheduled his appointment at the last moment due to inclement weather and rebooked another appointment for the following week without any trouble. The office itself is nice and bright and very child-friendly. During the visit both Dr. Kim and the hygienist explained everything they were doing to my son in ways he could understand and were very patient. His first experience at the dentist ended up being a very positive one thanks to Dr. Kim and her staff.

Brought my 3 kids in recently and we were very impressed with all the new COVID-19 safety procedures. My kids always leave happy and smiling. I highly recommend bringing your kids to them!

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the promptness and professional care given to my daughter. Our experience at this clinic was of the quickest and best we have ever encountered. She is by far my number 1 recommendation for the tricities. Calling her just a Specialist should be considered an insult. SHE BLEW ME AWAY W HER EXPERTISE , CONCERN FOR MY CHILDS HEALTH CONDITION AND MORE. She won me for life and is worth every cent.

I call for an emergency appointment, and i understand that my kid have a fever (because his gum is swollen) and they cannot take him in due to covid risk. But she sounded like it was a joke. As a mother who already so concern about my kid, she was just laughing at me like there is something funny about that?? You can just kindly tell me that you cannot see my kid i will totally get it, not to laugh at me and tell me goodluck with that. SO RUDE!!!! And i guess reading other review, I'm not the only one who experience bad service from the receptionist. Edit: Dr. Kim called me later that day for a virtual checkup. My son's case got diagnosed which is what i need. So i have no problem with the dentist, just the receptionist. If only she gave me that option in the first place and didn't just turn me away in a not so appealing way i won't be upset.
T	Tracey Jackson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A big thank you to Dr. Kim and her team ❤. From the start everyone one we talked to was friendly, helpful and reassuring. I had noticed a hole in my son's back molar, he is non-verbal and has been a challenge to brush his teeth. Living on Vancouver island, I was quoted a 13 month wait for him to be put under anesthesia at the hospital. I was worried about the length of time and the pain he could be in. After many phone calls, no one was able to get him in sooner. I then found Dr. Kim online and called and they got us in for a meet and greet in two weeks time ?, I was so happy. Dr. Kim was amazing with my son and her staff were awesome. We then got put on the waiting list and it was only 2 months long ?. Come surgery time, I was worried as I haven't had a child go under anesthesia before, everything was explained in detail and I felt reassured that everything would be okay. Everything turned out great ?, an hour after our son woke up from his dental surgery, he was back to his normal happy self, playing with toys until he fell asleep for a long good night's rest. Thank you so much Dr. Kim ?, we truly appreciate you and your whole team ❤.

Professional care for your children at reasonable price(we get treatments for free, covered by MSP). Gifts and toys at the end is a treat for our kids! Thank you all.
y	yu zheng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The experience with my son’s initial visit was actually pretty good. However, the dentist didn’t ask me permission for the x-ray. I specifically emailed them no x-ray checkup two days before the appointment. They said will ask my permission first and then the dentist was gonna do it without notifying me by telling my son “the staff is gonna take some pictures of your teeth now”. I asked her why didn’t ask me first then she was like” ok this is the part I’m asking you”. Unprofessional right there. Also they charge crazy amount for everything including teeth fillings. I really liked one staff there because she gave me tips on how to avoid cavities in the future (no drinkable yogurt something like that). She took her time with us and really be there with my son the whole time. I wouldn’t go back to this dental office.
