Rude and disrespectful hosts who made it clear myself and my SO were not welcome because they were concerned we would have sex (we didn't). We eventually asjed for a refund and found a better and cheaper option. We were up front that we had 2 people in the party requesting the room and the host had ample time to reach out beforehand instead of raising the issue after we had paid and driven multiple hours to the city.
S	S. Y. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude hostess treats you unwelcome from your first arrival at her house. She behaves she just needs your money, but not your presence at her guesthouse. Uncomfortable, unhappy staying at this guesthouse, it ruins your vacation.

It looks like we will not be returning here after the negative reviews. What a great place for me and my daughter to stay for two nights. Exceptionally clean and Marina, the owner was very hospitable. Do go if it's just two of you. It's not a place for couples to go crazy but is more of a quiet, relaxing beautiful home that Marina shares. We had a queen size bed with our own bath. It was perfect for our first trip to BC. Thank you Marina. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. Our host recommended a sushi place (California Sushi) for dinner and it was terrific as well. We easily were able to navigate from here to the touristy things we wanted to do in Vancouver. Thank you again. We hope to return soon!
I	Ins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this place a month before to make sure my family can stay in a good place. I paid 30% up front on that day. Two days later we decided not to go on the trip so we canceled the reservation. This was a month before the reserved date, but the owner refused to return the deposit back which is understandable. It would be nice if they pay us back at least 50% of the deposit. Pros: clean, good location, and reasonable price Cons: doesn't have TV, people are not friendly, the interior is not popping out, and the owner stays in the room next to you
N	Nina Beckett on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hosts are horrible! My friend arrived later in evening as flight was delayed but owners would not let her in. It was around 1030 and they yelled it was too late. She stood outside, late at night, alone in a dark residential area (no businesses around) - not safe for a young girl. Frightened she stayed in someone's yard further down the block, huddled with suitcase all night. Oh and never got money back...absolutely horrible people. Not worth one star but could not post this warning to people otherwise.

They have so many stupid rules that are not listed on Expedia, booking.com, or google. - Their parking space is so limited. The hosts will bug you about parking. - They allow people to take a shower for 10mins; they even displayed a sign in their washroom - Their rooms are super hot. They don’t have an AC. They do have an old loud fan. - Their house is located right on Austin Ave, a major road so it is super loud I asked for refund because it is so unfair that they didn’t listed stupid rules. The hosts were so rude. They completely ignored me once they got the money. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!

These owners are so rude and disrespectful. It’s a cash grab, they only want your money. They might seem nice at first, when they’re taking your money, but it’s just an act. Once they have your money, their tone changes completely. Do yourselves a favour and stay somewhere else.
