Made a reservation for a Sunday occasion two weeks in advance. Got an email 2 days before to confirm the reservation. By pure luck, on the day of the reservation I called in to confirm and was told they are actually closed on Sundays by the hotel concierge. Tried calling the actual restaurant several times but went to voicemail each time. Thanks for telling me in advance I guess? Can't comment on the food but terrible customer service - had to scramble to make new plans with less than an hour's notice.

Went for Beats and Brunch - Valentine's edition. I had never been before and the view was awesome. It gets pretty toasty with all the glass windows so dress accordingly! The food was OK - we went for the second seating (1PM-3PM) and the food was rather cold and some items a little soggy (e.g.: the waffles from the chicken and waffles, and the toast of the avocado toast). The flavours were good, but I imagine the first seating to be better with the food being fresher. The items that were prepared immediately beforehand were good (e.g.: arancini and short rib balls). A little underwhelming for the price. Would try again for drinks in the summer. Something to note, some restaurant goers didn't wear masks when serving themselves at the all-you-can-eat parts like the charcuterie board.

I am a big time foodie and this by far was the worst experience I have ever had. First the drinks are way over priced and felt watered-down...next there was only one food item available on the menu. The most offensive part was when I let my server know that went to the roof top part. At first she was okay with it only to come up to me 5 minutes later to inform me that the bar manager told her to make pay after very order and to pay up the two drinks right away. I consider myself an honorable person and have no reason to even consider not paying any bill.I am a visible minority and noticed that several people (all of which were Caucasian)did the same as me an not a single one of them were asked to pay per order. I just paid what I owed and left . Very disappointed and will never ever go there again.

Great view, great beer, and Melena was a great server. They are just getting up to speed having only just reopened after a long pandemic-related hiatus, so the food choice was limited. The quality of what is on offer is very good, and the menu will be increasing shortly.

I’ve been here maybe 3 times and 2/3 experiences were an absolute bust. The first was for a Canada Day event where we were told we couldn’t make reservations. Of course when we got there the rooftop was dreadfully packed, but a couple was nice enough to make room for us. The manager then went around putting β€œreserved” signs down on tables (including ours) when I asked about this the manager immediately had an attitude. The drink menus were replaced with bottle service menus that were absolutely ridiculously priced. (The regular drink menu alone is already shocking!) The manager told us unless we were ordering bottle service we had to leave. Pretty outrageous considering we had confirmed days earlier that we weren’t able to make any sort of bottle service reservation at all! I was extremely offended. My second experience here wasn’t as awful but definitely made me realize that this place is NOT worth the hype. We went to the rooftop on a Saturday after having dinner downstairs. The music was awful and again, hardly anywhere to sit. Most recently, we tried for TWO WEEKS to book a reservation for a going away party and there was not a single person to answer the phone. Since our group was larger than 6 people, making a reservation on open table was not an option. E-mails went unanswered as well. Just absolutely deplorable service here. I recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Great gem of a spot here! Exclusive to hotel guests only at the moment due to COVID, but were able to bring some friends as guests. Staff were very accommodating on this chilly/windy evening and let us move to a fireplace (bring a jacket, even in the summer!). Drinks were pricey, but you won’t get this view, atmosphere and so few people (not crowded) at any other Ottawa venue!

Best view ever! Located in the heart of downtown. They make off the menu cocktails! The bar is small, can’t hold much crowd which is good(social distancing). However, I just find the place a little warm. But overall, a good place to hangout. Price wise, affordable.

I’ve been waiting for them to open for public dine in’s since last year! We finally went ? The drinks and the food were delicious, and talk about their view of the city! The flying canoe cider was delicious, even for me who doesn’t like cider so much. Shrimp cocktail was tasty but a typical expected taste. The duck confit grilled cheese was extremely delicious, I would highly recommend this to others! A great dining spot, I would visit again!
