Adopted our puppy Koda one year ago from Copper Sky Huskies. Their puppies are always beautiful and healthy. Our Koda is healthy, strong, and social. They care about how their puppies are doing and are always available for questions and support. Would recommend if you are looking to adopt a husky.

Melanie is professional and accommodating while the application process is thorough and in-depth which is fantastic in a dog breeder. I highly recommend Copper Sky Huskies.

I will state the facts of dealing with this breeder and leave emotion out of it. We put a $500 deposit down for a puppy in a litter that was to be born within the next 2-3 weeks. The pregnant dog would have been in her last trimester. We received a message through facebook (private group) from the breeder that the dog had been to the vet and it was not in fact pregnant and never was. We were given the option to have our money refunded or to go on a waitlist for another dog that she was going to potentially breed to become pregnant. She could not give any sort of time frame as to when this would be. When I questioned the legitimacy of her business by asking for her mailing address she promptly refunded me the money and took us off of her closed facebook group. She did not disclose her business address. As well, weeks ago I had asked her to email me a receipt showing that we had paid the $500 deposit and it was never sent. Whether this was a potential scam or just an inexperienced breeder, I felt compelled to share my experience with Copper Sky Huskies on this public platform.

I purchased my beautiful Husky, Hunter from Melanie and Anthony in 2018. I can not say enough great things about the two of them. They interviewed us at great length to ensure we were good, qualified candidates to adopt from them. They welcomed us into their home multiple times for us to visit, and overall I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional breeder.

I was expecting a puppy from a Copper Sky Huskies litter that was due in a few weeks. Unfortunately, after an x-ray we got the news that the mom of the litter showed no signs of pregnancy. While this was very sad news, I am confident that there was nothing the breeder could have done to change the situation - you can't always perfectly predict everything that will (or won't) happen when you work with animals. They apologized profusely for the disappointing news (and were deeply saddened themselves) and offered everyone impacted by this news either a spot on a future litter waitlist or a full refund of our deposit. They were unable to provide a timeline for when a future litter could be expected because the female they plan to breed is still young and her heat cycles have not yet been established. They also wait to get vet approval before they breed for the health of their dogs, as well as the litter's health. They take their dog's health seriously, and do not rush the process of having a litter, and that is a responsible and admirable quality I look for in a breeder. However, I ultimately made the decision for my deposit to be returned, and it was fully refunded right away with absolutely no issues. Copper Sky Huskies is a friendly, welcoming breeder, that simply had some unfortunate luck this time around. Their private Facebook group (accessible to those that have recieved, or are expecting a pup) is filled with families and pups that they have made so happy. You can tell they really care about all of their puppies, and their families. I trust this breeder and would not hesitate to inquire about future litters with them, especially after the honesty and transparency they showed in a difficult and sad situation such as this.

On September 2020 I was contacted for an upcoming litter, filled out the questionnaire, they are extremely thorough. In October I put down a non-refundable deposit of $500.00. We were in contact throughout the month, I was added to their puppy group on Facebook. Unfortunately in November, their female had an X-ray done and turned out she wasn't pregnant. They offered a refund or wait for the other female but she is more thicker coat, which I personally didn't think would do well with our summer's. They didn't give us a timeframe, she's still young and waiting for the go ahead from the vet. I asked for the deposit back and they were very quick to send it! They are very professional, responsive, loving and caring about their puppies and want to make sure they go to the right home. Through group, they organize meet ups, it's fantastic, to see how they grow and change. Definitely look forward to doing business with Copper Sky Huskies in the future. Their puppies from what I've seen are very beautiful! Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to get to know you and the dog's!
